Which one of these sets for Stam Sorc?

I have a few sets to consider for my stam sorc, for PvE purposes in mainly veteran dungeons. These are just the sets I have on me, which means that a few better-suited ones are still lurking out there for me:

Hundings Rage
Leviathan
Automatons
Spriggans
Slimecraw / Velidreth / Krag'hs
Vicious Ophidian (only have neck as jewelry which gimps me a little in terms of versatility)

Which combination would be the most effective one? I'm currently running Warrior Mundus, with as many Divines pieces as possible.

The one I'm currently running is 5x VO , 5x Automatons , 1 Slime and 1 Veli. It's a good setup but just wanted to see what the community thinks.

Thanks :)

Depends if you PuG a lot or go with a stable premade group. Because most pug tanks do not use infused weapon with crusher. That leaves the boss with a lot of resistances up you need to get rid of.

I would choose 5 Spriggan + 5 VO. I also like 2 Velidreth, 2pc monster sets can up your damage a lot. Automaton is good and even better than Spriggan but only if you overpenetrate the boss with Spriggan.

Calculate for yourself, bosses in dungeons have 18200 resistances.

    Groupfinder:
The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

    Rulz of Morrowind:
    • The first rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • The second rule of Morrowind is: You do not talk about Morrowind.
    • Third rule of Morrowind: Someone yells NDA stuff, uploads images, streams, the game is over.
    • Fourth rule: only invited players can test.
    • Fifth rule: one invite at a time, fellas.
    • Sixth rule: crying or bashing on pts.
    • Seventh rule: NDA will go on as long as they have to.
    • And the eighth and final rule: If this is your first invite at Morrowind, you have to play.

I run 5x VO, 5x Hunding's rage (one nirnhoned dagger and one sharp), 2x Kra'gh. Love it.

Spriggan + Hunding's Rage = general 'cheap' and effective setup for dungeons and shizzle

TFS + Hunding's Rage = Best setup afaik with HotR you will need at least 40 points into piercing if going with infused/precise weapons

Spriggan/TFS + VO = vMA cheesiness (especially stam sorc), dungeons and trial effective as long there's enough penetration in your squad and cp

Sunderflame + VO = probably the best setup imo if you're doing trials all the time, the penetration is equal to spriggan and you boost your stamina DDs too. It's important to have one stam DD with sunderflame at least.

Please stop with Automaton...Poison injection does 10k dps or more to <50% targets and you don't want it gimped it.

As for monsters Kragh, veli and slimecraw are all good and viable...Choose whatever you want, if you can spare some CP to piercing then I'd use Kragh.

What about Stormfist on a Stam Sorc?

With proper support: Automaton + VO + Stormfist
Without proper support: TFS + VO + Stormfist

Automaton gives you the best weapon damage values on Stamsorc, however if you need more penetration TFS becomes stronger. Both options work great if you have them on both bars, so they are ideal for combining with VO weapons. VO gives you the ability to skip heavy attacks, which can be a huge DPS increase especially in AOE. Stormfist gives you even more sustain while doing good damage itself, it is somewhat situational however.
Of course you could also run a support build like NMG + Thunderflame or other more situational setups.

Automaton is good on stam sorcs since most of the damage is physical. VO is good if you have the 5p.
As for monster set, either Velidreth or Stormfist.

    For a basic but good item combination, 5p VO, 5p Hunding's, Kra'gh/Velidreth/Stormfist.

Its still a valid question, besides, I only necro’d because BACK in August i was already using a nirnhoned dagger and stormfist (thats right, before it was cool). Hehehe

Alrighty, now say you were playing a greatsword weilding stam sorc, would you be better off using 5x Hundings Rage/Automaton, 5x Vicious Ophidian and 1x trial greatsword, or 5-3-1 and monster set (stormfist in this case).

Just trying to work out if the damage and sustain gained from the 5 piece VO bonus is worth the loss of the fist proc and stam regen bonus.
