Nirnhoned and Crafted sets.

I'm glady that a Torus Pact catastrophe has been avoided.

Nirnhoned: it used to be this rare material.
People were making guides claiming that if you take the path that circles Northen Craglorn and Southern Craglorn you had better chances to get Nirn from the nearby resources.

1)I think that Nirn mats should be gained 100% from deconstruction.
2)I think that nirn gear should drop only in Vet Trials for PvErs, and also be farmed with some PvP activity for the PvPers (nirn farming in Craglorn should remain as boring as it is, as an additional option)
3)I think that Nirn Traits should become OP and BiS in order to boost Crafted Sets, while dropped Sets, given that they offer bonuses that assist min/maxed roles, should not have Nirm Traits.

Reasons for making this post:
1)I like crafted sets and I want to see them used more in PvP
2)I like the uniqueness of Nirn mats, but I'd like to see them as a reward for end game PvE and PvP.
3)I believe that by having an OP trait for crafted sets would give raise to new builds.
Well point 1 and 3 are kinda the same..
4)any news about jewels for crafted sets? Eta plz?

If crown store only mats don't have a 100% recovery chance I highly doubt Nirn will be jacked up to 100%. Whether you agree with it or not, premium only mats should be given preference over in-game mats.

Yeah nirn needs a serious buff. Nobody run it. Especially on armor.

    1. We should not have any greater chance to gain Nirn when deconing than we have any other trait or style item.
    2. Why limit further where Nirn traited gear drops?
    3. While Zos pulled out of their noble goal with this update, we still have more choices with traits. Currently Nirn is not a bad choice Making Nirn BiS to the extent it is OP would be an absurd idea from someone who does not really care making the game better. To do that to boost crafted sets is silly since there are some crafted sets that are looking pretty sweet with this update.

Might want to read the patch notes. At least for weapons Nirn is pretty good. They have been good for shields for awhile now. Offer more resistance than reinforced, unless that changed this patch.

I feel Nirn should be better so crafting means something.

Nirn use to be great when it gave spell penetration and spell resist. Now it sucks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't each dagger you hold give 15% damage and a single staff gives 15% too? Aren't single wield weapons supposed to be double that of a duel wield weapon?

It'll be 15% increase damage of the weapon you're holding next patch. Currently 11%. It won't output a 15% dps increase though since a lot of your dps comes from max resource.

No, the when dual wielding you only get the main hands weapon damage, unless you have the "dual wield expert" passive which does the following-

(WHILE DUAL WIELDING) Increases Weapon Damage by 6% of off-hand weapon's damage

So you only get 6% of the off hands weapon damage added to the total, which is 80 weapon damage for non nirn and 92 extra with a nirn off hand. So you only get an extra 12 weapon damage from have a nirn off hand, much better to run sharpened or presice or infused.

I love Nirn on dual swords when I PVP. With a staff in my hand my spell dmg sits at 2006 unbuffed. Pop 2 swords with nirn on them and my spell damage jumps to 2667 unbuffed. Always works great for me.

Nirnhoned is actually in a good spot this patch. Seen a lot of setups using at least one Nirnhoned weapon on either backbar or frontbar, both magicka and stamina setups. Nirnhoned is in an ok spot I think.

According to my poor calculations, Nirn (Mh) + Infused (Oh) seems one of the best options for stamina sorc PvE. However, I am better of running Infused in main hand because it is almost impossible to get Nirnhoned Vicious Ophidian 1H axe.

It is completely impossible, nirn weapons only drops on the end of the craglorn quest and more importantly, in vMA, not even in vDSA.

Nirnhoned is also an armour trait.
No, it's not in a good spot.
