Endless load screen to load up character select

Patched. Failed. Repaired. Repair failed. Repatched. Failed. Repaired. Failed. Repatched. Success.
Now my character select screen will not load after an hour. Restarted my computer. 30 min later character select still refuses to load.
I know that after a patch the character select takes forever and a day to load because ??????? but this is absolutely ridiculous. I've been trying to play for over 4 hours. This is extremely annoying.

Akwila✭✭✭For kicks and giggles I'm just going to let this load overnight. If I get a time out error I will consider that a success. Wish I had done something better with my evening.
