My warden had 65k+ health using these two sets, now he has 62k health.

Are there any other sets (besides Warrior-Poet) that can get my warden back to 65k+?

Infused pieces + the right food would get you closer.

Why are you worried about 3k health? (You could also change mundus, if you're not using Lord already)
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.

maybe non matching monster helm and shoulders that have health buffs? Or perhaps if in a group you'd have to rely on someone contributing with ebon?

the green pact and plague doctor i use are already all infused and the food is +5000 (meat pie) and already using the Lord (the increase for that mundus doesnt help much with these nerfs).

I like making characters with one maxed attribute and i had maxed magicka and maxed stamina done already, so i wanted a max health character.

3.5k may not seem like much to lose but the point is that the health cap is now lower by 3.5k and that irks me somewhat.

Yeah. Luckily I only lost 1k health because divine got buffed. I got 63k before the nerf and 62k after.

Max health builds shouldn't be a thing. You are losing a lot of utility from the tank to become a pure meat shield. You need at most 30-40K for a tank in most content unless you are learning the content. I am running Ebon and Torugs with health on small and tri glyphs on large, sturdy everything.

This is not the point of this thread, take your advice you gave us so kindly elsewhere. Especially if you don't know why people are going max health in the first place.
I apologize if I seem rude to you, but I am tired of having to explain this every time and I am sure Verbal_Earthworm is too.
To make it short, Wardens and Templars have skills that deal damage depending on their max health. More health, more damage. That's why max health builds are a thing. I am further increasing that max-health-scaling damage with the Harbinger set that everyone likes to forget about.

And this is why there was a slight nerf. Opposing Wardens in battlegrounds that know what they are doing and you are better off just standing up there on the platform until the match is over. Even if they don't know what they are doing that one button spam will wreck the average player. A few Wardens added to your group in Cyrodiil has almost become a necessity. Warden abilities needed a tweak and this one was a really minor one.

Probably, but the undodgeable chicken spam and the utility they provide in Cyrodiil have nothing to do with max health and how to get him back at 65k+ health, do they? The max health scaling is a frost spell which can be dodged to my knowledge, the chicken spam isn't and scales with weapon/spell damage.

This nerf is really minor and necessary on other builds (although it hits max health too, where its not needed). What did hit my max health build harder though was the change (from some patches ago) that you only restore the resource you have the most of from synergies. I need both stamina and magicka to keep using my shield and to block.

    @Verbal_Earthworm
What race are you? If you really need more, maybe switching your race to an imperial would be the next step. It's what I did and I was very satisfied. Nord and Orc have 9% bonus max health while Imperials got 12%.

You have to take a look at the entire package. Lowering the health a bit brings down a few overpowering aspects certain builds had without getting heavy handed. ZoS is trying to make it so that we can't just stroll our way through the hard content. That is why we are seeing this change and the restore reduction changes. They are making these changes while also trying to find a balance in PvP. At least this time they didn't take a big chunk out.

Nord, so the 65.5k included the 9%, with the 6% damage reduction it's comparable to the imperial 12%.

Did consider buying imperial upgrade to get the extra 3% but haven't done it so far.

For anyone interested, I just wanted to max the health on a character and it happened to be a warden, i dont pvp at all.

I understand why the changes happened but the purpose of this thread is to find possible alternatives to the two nerfed sets.

I'd like to find out where the health cap sits now and how it can be achieved.

I'm not at all concerned with how viable/optimal/sensible my choice of build is.

Warror-Poet is not useful in raids. The 5 pc bonus is the same as what WH provides and a Warden healer can provide.

If only the the Health-scaled ice damage morph of the warden skill actually caused it to do damage to ao enemies. I suppose the visual effect might scare a goblin until it realized it doesn't actually hurt you. I'm basing this off a 63k Warden on pre-Morrowind PTS but I'm sure it's still not viable. Which is too bad; using Spell Symmetry with a tiny magicka pool and ice staff/sword and board produced semi-interesting play styles.

@runagate omg. Your so negative. Think of yourself as a pretty butterfly roaming around Tamriel. It'll place you in a much sweeter mood. Valaste will be happy to see you. She likes butterflies.
