Well the shadow nerf hits harder than you think
MW: 12% *1.525 = 18.3%
HOTR: 9% *1.525 =13.7%
100%-(13.7% / (18.3/100))=100%-74.86% = 25.14% nerf to the Shadow Mundus alone.
Thats a 4.6% difference in Krit dmg compared MW

agingerinohio✭✭✭I think it might be a good thing. With the meta the way it was going, it would have given people incentive not run vet dungeons and trials more than ever considering Mother's Sorrow is a BoE. It will still be good just not as good as it would have been.0

5x mother sorrow + 5 julianos + 1 iceheart with the shadow mundus stone barely reach 60% of crit chance, which means that the above combo gives 20% less crit chance than intended (or at least what we had on pts until yesterday) .
Not to mention the shadow mundus stone nerf
Same gear but thief mundus stone and you jump to 70% crit chance....which is probably not worth it considering you're giving up magic damage.

Also, anyone know how shadow is doing with the nerf? ✭IA now has the exact 5-th piece crit bonus as Mother's Sorrow +903 heavy attack damage, and 10 seconds of Minor Vuln. it also has a 833 crit 2-piece bonus, Minor Slayer, and 129 SD 4th piece.
Total crit from IA:
1924 + 833 = 2757 / 219 = 12.59% crit
Mother's Sorrow:
833 + 833 + 1924 = 3590 / 219 = 16.34% crit

Apprentice and Shadow were very close before the nerfs according to Asayre's math on the PTS forum. I can't see Shadow being ahead after today.

Pre-patch the same combo gave you 64 % and hotr buffed Mother's Sorrow slightly. Haven't logged in myself yet, but it still got buffed so how could you fall below 60 % crit when you could reach it pre patch?0 -
