Twice-Fanged Serpent nerf / Oblivion Damage infused nerf

Notable change to TFS:
Twice-Fanged Serpent: Reduced the Physical Penetration granted by this Item Set’s proc to 860 per stack from 1000.

860 * 5 = 4.3k, so you lose 700 penetration.

Not too bad, but it still seems kinda BiS at the moment.

In other news, this showed up:
Infused: Fixed an issue where the Infused Weapon Trait was not reducing the cooldown on Oblivion Damage enchantments.

Torug’s Pact:
This item set now reduces the cooldown of your weapon enchantment by 30% instead of one second, and is multiplicative with the cooldown reduction of the Infused trait.
Fixed an issue where this item set’s bonus was modifying the strength and cooldown of poisons.

Maybe Infused / Torug's Oblivion apocalypse is prevented?

Reduced the damage on the Damage Health (Oblivion) weapon enchantment by approximately 36%.

Yeah , it is prevented .

Didn't see that. Looks like they really did something about it.

Really goes to show how much community feedback goes a long way. Though, could eat my words in a few hours. ^^

This change is no surprise. It made magsorcs mortal, and we can't have that now

That was just ZOS protecting their magsorcs like they always do.

Spriggan's + a few pen cp or Krag 1-piece still beats it though.

Well sure, but TFS + a few pen cp is still stronger than Spriggan's + a few pen CP. TFS also grants crit, unlike Spriggan's.

So TFS is still better (as it should be; trial-running ought to have a greater reward than overland-farming), but not so much better that newer players who don't have access to it will be miles behind (again, as it should be).

Yeah but it was always a double edged sword. All of us stam players are now also saved from torugs/oblivion combo being the magicka version of vipers. I do say oblivion was fine and its torugs that should have been adjusted but, like you said, mag sorcs.
