Would you like a "Housing" Event ?

Would you like a Housing-related event, and if yes, what would be the content you would like to see in it?

Example:
- Discount on houses,
- Special merchants that bring all known furniture of each type from across Tamriel,
- Some guild-level housing objective,
- Quest and special rewards,
- etc...

I would like a "housing event" where they...
Triple the player caps of all houses.
Triple the item count of all houses.
Give us walls and doorways and stairs to use to customize the interior of houses.
The above to last forever.

And the following to last for the duration of the event:
Halve the cost of all houses, both in gold and crowns.
Make the RNG of finding furnishing recipes more favorable to players by a factor of at least 3.
Create a medium size unique house for each race, one of which players can choose as a quest reward, furnished. The others to be available for purchase after completing the quest.

"Increasing the furniture cap/item count in each house..." Yeah I don't know why I forgot this one..
I bought the Velothi house, put nice stuff to decorate the outside,
and here I am stuck with the cap and I can't decorate the inside of the house hahahahah, wtf

An event of some kind yes. But one that rewards furnishings and perhaps a unique property rather than temporarily changing the pricing and item placement of homestead itself, even if it is to our benefit. Perhaps one with a thieves guild or DB tie in where players design a maze of traps in the event home and set guards with a set walking path down. Then you get randomized repeatable quests to infiltrate a random player made mazes and steal x items or kill y target(s) in a solo instance.

I have no interest in the kind of special event suggested, but I'd like to see some improvements to the housing system - most notably the ability of characters on a second account (or friends list etc) to access any house on an account rather than just the primary residence.

Each character I play gets his/her own house. When it comes to achievement furniture and trophies they only get to put in what they themselves have earned. I also have a couple of the big houses that are more an account thing just for me to play around with. I don't think we need a housing event as housing is for the most part a solo thing and is always instanced.

What I would like to see is:

A drop down menu so instead of seeing visit primary home you see a list of homes the player has and can choose which one to visit.

A visitors log book that tracks who visits your homes and has an option for them to leave a comment. I randomly visit players homes and often send them a mail in game telling them something about the decorations I like. People seem to really appreciate hearing someone liked what they did with their homes. Making this easier to do would be nice.

Critters for the garden. Either ones we can place or just random kind of like out and about in the world. Squirrels, birds, rabbits that kind of thing. Nothing fancy just a few critters moving about.

NPCs that have some animation to them. I'm going to set up one house as a bazaar but it will look empty with no people standing around.

More slots obviously.

Let trophies take up normal slots. One home I am limited to ten trophies. I would like to put out a couple of more and am willing to sacrifice something else to do so. Seems kind of silly that I have open slots and could put a wagon in the yard if I wanted but not a bust.

A menu where a player can click on a house (could be the same as when you open the map and see purchased and non purchased homes) and see a number of random houses people have decorated that you can visit. Players would have to opt in for their homes to appear on the list.

I don't think we need a housing event but it would be nice if they throw housing a few bones tied into the events already planned.

Oh and I would like some weather in my home. Would be nice to see some snow sometimes.

I don't think there is an addon for this. I couldn't find one. I found one that would let me go to all my homes with a keybind but nothing that would let others visit my non primary home or let me visit others non primary home.

(edit) found it, was in character advancement area instead of homestead. App is called port to friends house.

I'd like to see an event with daily housing-related crafting writs. Completing them gives you a reward bag that contains:

1) housing-item crafting mats
2) reasonably high chance of the Hlaalu furnisher's document
3) a few writ vouchers (normally only available from master writs), since most of the items are housing related

... and after the event ends, keep the housing writs, but instead of the furnisher's documents maybe give them a chance to drop their own master writs

This would reward people who have been collecting furnishing recipes (since it's a big gold sink that does squat for our master writ chances currently) and would give housing enthusiasts a good chance at new recipes.

EDIT: Bringing back all the gold recipes on Rolis Hlaalu only for the duration of the event would be cool too, for people who didn't grab them the first time.

A housing event could be interesting, .. adding housing items to the current events is just as appealing as well. I look forward to those events for the items and the achievements.
