Fighting invisible men in pvp

Something needs to be done about NB's ability to repeatedly attack from stealth in pvp. We either need to be able to mark them in a way that prevents them from stealthing, or their ability to stay invisible and attack repeatedly needs to be removed. It makes no sense what so ever that a character would get more than one attack from stealth.

Sorry NB's that have to stay invisible to win a fight, but that's not how it's supposed to work.

We do have ways to do that.... ans that is exactly how that is supposed to work.

That is actually how it is suppose to work lol.

There are counters to stealth as well. I wont list them but they are available to everyone.

This is pretty much how it is for Nightblades. They're the stealth class of ESO. And there are ways to counter them. Detect pots, Piercing Mark, Flare, Magelight, the Fighter's guild version of Magelight, etc.

Now how did I know that the NB's that can't win a fight straight up legit would chime in with trolls?

No, a character should not get more than one attack from stealth. Once an attack has occurred, the only stealth that a toon should get is to flee. It's chickensh*t to get more than one attack from stealth.

    Trolls?

    L2p man.

Dots, detect pots, mage light, aoe's etc...

There's more stuff to pop stealthers than any other counter in the game...

You want *** handed to you on a silver platter?

Plenty of in your face blades out there that will eat you for lunch.
Also after the first attack you know he is there so bad on you if you let him attack a second time.

I play DK and while I hate Stealthing away and still surviving and being able to cloak inside talons and not take damage, Stealth is a valid tactic and was and is intended by the devs

There are plenty of skills and abilities that completely shut down stealth anyway

I know a few nightblades that you probably want to have stay in stealth. Because if they actually fight you there will be a nerf nightblade out of stealth thread

If NBs loose thier stealth what else do they have going for them? They are the only fun class to play because of stealth

You know any class can crouch and go invisible too. You can also take a potion that grants invisibility for 15 secs, which is 3 times longer than most pvp encounters.

If you are attacked from stealth once, why didn't you cast magelight? Or stand in the middle of your aoe? Or cast a dot? Or use a detect potion?

Nothing needs to be done about an NB's ability to attack repeatedly from stealth in PvP.

And if they beat you using the tools that are available to them as a class, that's exactly how it's supposed to work. If you only want to fight the class and style YOU play, maybe duels are more up your street than open-world PvP.

And I main a templar. I'll be the one annoying you by using heals and beams of light, the tools available to my class.
Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

I will also add to the counters above, there are poisons that prevent entering stealth (for any class) and abilities (like soul assault) that prevent cloaking for a period of time.

Yes a character only gets one attack from stealth.

If a person can get more than one attack from stealth that's a cheater/exploiter.

THAT was the skill I forgot. Also helps with singling out vampires/werewolves in pvp.

are there any death scenarios which are "okay"?

losing fights sucks...getting hit by "invisible" siege sucks...dying to lag sucks...getting stuck on some barely visible, rock, fence, branch, blade of grass - as you're trying to escape the zerg - sucks...

    getting ganked sucks...
