i have never seen a company that mods their forums like Zenimax. it almost seems to get to the point of censorship, this will probably be taken down by a mod but does anyone else thinks they police the forums too much or is it just me?

I partially agree. There is some salty trolling on the forums that makes it less fun to be part of this community. Some people really do set up time-wasting threads and polls, and some people post stuff just to get a reaction. The mods do an amazing (and largely thankless) job of keeping this forums nice for the normal majority.

However, there are times that moderation seems so deliberately heavy handed that it is obviously just an attempt to whitewash over legitimate complaints. I especially think quitting threads should be allowed, because anyone who comes to the official forums to say why they are giving up on the game are giving valuable feedback.
