Igneous Shield and Triminac's Crystal.....

I've searched on this forum and others... all say Igneous Shields procs the Triminac 5pc set bonus (big crystal that damages and heals).... but no matter how many times I spam Igneous Shields, Triminac will not proc. Am I missing something ??? Thanks.

It works for me with both igneous shield and barrier. Maybe try to stand near some other players, so it has higher chance (more shields cast).

Pretty sure it doesn't proc when cast only on yourself

I had a difficult time getting it to proc on my healing/shielding DK that used 5 pc Trinimac and 5 pc Combat Physician. Eventually I just dropped Trinimac because it wasn't worth it. In the next patch you'll be better off going with 2 pc Bogdan Nightflame instead of Trinimac. It would be cool to use them both, though...

Only procs when you shield someone else. Works if you have a combat pet out, though.

It seems to be the case based since multiple players have said the same, however, when heals state they heal allies that includes the caster, for obvious reasons. Things should be clear as in maybe state cast a shield on an ally other than the caster to eliminate confusion.

I've run this set for a while and can't see it proc even when I do have allies present. I run this with Eyes of Mara. So what set would be better with Eyes of Mara? Combat Physician? There's no recovery on Combat Physician though. Was also looking into Sanctuary or the ever popular Spell Power Cure, but that's a *** to Farm. What are some of your thoughts?

The truth is, this set is not very good.

ZOS could've made it pretty strong but the lowish proc chance and that cooldown kill it rn. Not to memtion the heal/damage value is low too.

You can use this set if you don't care about being super effective, but only a DK casting Igneous Shield on allies will proc is semi-often.

Drop Mara, it's a garbage set. Spell power cure would be optimal but even something like Julianos would be good for the beefier heals. Alternatively if you really want a sustain set you could go Seducer but you should be able to sustain with just resto heavy attacks and ele drain. This is coming from a PVE perspective since you did not specify.

Eyes of Mara is a 12% reduction in all restoration staff abilities, and as a DK only one ability heal, all my heals come from the staff. Mara saves me huge.

SPC is like the go to set. It just sucks to farm, lol.

I also ran Crypt yesterday and got Worm. Was thinking about that as well.
