ESO app?

Do you think it would be a good idea to have an eso app where you could see like your character, change his outfits, see inventory, chat, buy crowns with apple/google play money etc...

Yep there was an app for Destiny that let you access your character, equip gear, move things from character to bank or to other characters. I always thought something like that would be awesome for ESO. Being able to use my phone to in game chat would be very very nice. I'm gonna say we get 2 more comments before someone says it's a waste of dev time.

People have been asking about an Android/iOS app for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately I don't think it is high on the ZOS development priority list. It would be nice to check in-game email, check on research/mount training timers, etc. Heck they could allow us to share achievements/builds via social media. That would help promote the game.

I just think their resources are focused elsewhere.

lol thank you for that! Yeah, if Zos made it and charged for it that would be lame. I'd maybe give em 99 cents for it but that's about it.

I've seen apps like this for previous games with the inclusion of things leader-boards crafting info class info and sometimes action house listing. In eso's case it would be guild stores obviously.

I would like a Cyrodiil app so I could see what's going on with the map while I'm at work. That would be nice.

eso has an app for this. funnily enough its called eso

if you want to do things in game, why do people think you should be able to do it without logging into the game?

and just for you....its a waste of dev time.

i can check on my research and mount training timers. i use an app called sticky notes. its like notepad but its stuck to my desktop. i just update it when i start new ones. but its only useful for those people who can tell time.

oh and because its stuck to my desktop, its the first thing i see when i turn my computer on.

I've commented on several threads about this before, my stance is still the same: Yes please! I would love to be able to view my characters, also would be useful to see research times, mount training times and when werewolf bites are ready.

I'm sorry to be that guy who links to his own posts, but not long ago Zenimax Online Studies put out job adverts to make a cross platform mobile app... I'll link below, but the post didn't get much attention. Some people thought it was to do with TES Legends even though that has a different developer, so at the moment no-one knows why zos is hiring people to make a mobile app.

That was just one example. We could all throw away or cell phones and never leave our house. But since we have this technology why is it so strange that we would want another option for our ESO fix if we are not at home?

because people feel the game developer needs to hold their hand like they're a 5yr old wanting to cross the road. you already got a timer - its on the character. would people here like the devs to write an app that tells them when to goto the toilet as well? for crying out loud people!

people arent asking for something new. they are asking for a way they can be lazy and not log into the game until a timer goes off on their phone, or even at all.

Pull a Zos and charge people $2.99 for it.
