You put recolored vCoS skin into the crown store and you're gonna take money for this (not gonna mention you removed one of the skins from HotR and replaced it with some stupid hat, only to sell this skin in crown store). I worked hard for my vCoS skin and now everyone will be running around in the same skin but different color because they paid for it? What next, recolored vMoL skin next month in crown store?

Skins should be earnable by achievements, not bought for money. That's all.

If they start selling the original Spiderkith through Crown Store I will be upset. But this? Meh. Wearing this skin will just show that you are not good enough to get the achievements but have a lot of spare cash to spend. Is it necessarilly a bad thing?

And btw, in my personal opinion both skins are ugly as hell, but hey, whatever floats their boat.

I don't think mounts, skins, personalities, even assistants and pets should be limited to only one or another option. I'd like to see basic mounts given through quests, some skins being available through crowns,, and some assistants and pets available as achievement awards.

Cosmetic stuff? I have no problem with it. Skins, beards, polymorphs, costumes, hats, dyes - all of that does the same thing: modifies the character's appearance, without boosting stats.

Pay to lose joke broom? No problem.

Convenience items like research scrolls, soul gems, XP scrolls, horse riding lessons? No problem

Some sort of pay to win magic sword of doom? That would be the only kind of stuff I don't want to see in the crown store.

Your skin is still only obtainable through hard work (which people cheesed the first few weeks SotH was out anyway, AHEM). They did not take skins away from HotR, there is still a skin to earn.

Let the market decide...people can vote with their wallets. If the majority of players don't like this it won't sell well. If people want it then you will see it everywhere. ZOS is just providing the choices as any service provider does, and we the consumer make the final decision. If ZOS didn't offer things like this then another segment of the gamer population would be screaming about lack of choices.

ZOS has been doing this since the beginning. I have several senche mounts including the 1 year sub version. All have the same animations just different stripes. And they were all sold as "limited time offers".

The fact they're not the same thing (and clearly can be told apart) only goes to show what people have the skill/ability to earn the prestigious one vs one someone purchased.

I'll be buying the new one as I like the look of it, I like purple and I want a neat skin for my lich theme. I don't have the other one, so people can still laugh at how I suck at the game if that makes them feel better, I'll just be over there having fun though.

All of this stuff is cosmetic and voluntary to get or buy. I have no issue with these items being in the crown store, the skins don't even look that similar to me.

It's very easy to tell the difference between which skin was earned and which skin was purchased unless you are very colorblind.

Beat it. Not all of us want to spend hours doing dumb *** online and would prefer to just buy stuff we like. You know people who have decent jobs and work hard in real life so they can enjoy their hobbies and spend the money they earned. The skin isnt even the same stop crying.
