I want the ability to turn on my own faction

Found myself at Molag Bal, in IC, just testing my build, solo, when I ran into about 7 players of an opposing faction. As a nightblade, I remained cloaked, at a safe distance, but noticed one of my own. At first he seemed to be attacking an opposing player, but I eventually realised he was a sentry for the opposing faction, who kept giving away my position with his staff. WHAT A PRICK! Wish ESO could know he was a traitor, and let me turn on him!

You can always run one of your faction scrolls to the enemy and drop it off there.

That is sure to make you some new friends!

Oh, I don't often play Cryro, and ... errr ... I wasn't thinking of becoming a traitor myself.

By the way, I can think of no way to implement this that wouldn't be completely open to abuse. Just throwing it out there as a point of exasperation, this evening. It doesn't happen often. Usually, when factions cooperate, it involves duelling or maybe PvEing together, but this was so underhanded. The guy didn't even participate in Molag Bal. His express purpose seemed to be standing guard against his own faction.

Hard to do from a distance, but report the person spotting for the other team sounds like the best course of action.

    Sounds like cheating to me.

yeah, hands down one of the most frustrating aspects of the game is when an "ally" turns on you...

never forget spending a good 5 minutes after I rezzed hacking away at some "friendly" player after they revealed my position to an enemy...

thankfully at the time, didn't know how to "whisper" or even text chat with people...

Actually there is something ZOS could do: Give me the option to crouch or cloak away from my own faction so that, like enemies, they can't see me either. Hey, since we're already getting rid of friendly combat visuals, maybe this will even improve performance further.

Yep No PK in ESO lol, it was probably just an alt.

Yeah you should be able to stealth from your own faction, unless you are in a party with them. They already have this for heals and speedofrunningfast (forgot the spell name!) and buffs, so....? Why not?

Yeah, of course it was an alt. The other thing that crossed my mind was forbidding players to have alts in multiple alliances, or perhaps showing when they do, or when their (recent) playtime on alts in other alliances is much greater. I'm not super fussed about any of this and not seriously looking for ZOS to provide a crutch for dealing with it, but, while we're talking about it, just some ideas.
