This is a role playing game at its heart and RPGs are all about character progression. CP is our only mechanism at present for progression past level 50. I would not be in favor of anything that eliminated character progression.
Not saying CP is perfect or that another progression system might not be better but simply saying "that's it CP 630 till end of life for ESO" is a really bad idea.

I say remove the cap and let a person use all there cp they have gained it would certainly be more interesting that's for sure

I remember when they gave full access to cp. None of the content was fun. It was ridiculously too easy even now it's easy.
