Pet sorc build

Hi guys, trying to get my pet sorc dps build as high dps as possible, any input on what skills i should have on my front and back bar would be great.....current setup is

necropetence set
trying to get llambris set
rings i dont have any specific yet

skils on front bar are

power surge
crystal fragments
boundless storm
hardened ward
summon volatile familiar
energy overload....i really want to change this for a good aoe attack

back bar

summon volatile familiar
rapid regeneration
soul trap
hardened ward
crystal fragments

havaent spent any time on second bar, trying to get front bar perfect first.

any recommendations would be great.

I won't tell you how to play but I will point out what might be hindered useless in a group setting that could be substituted for more DPS... and cleanup your skill slots.

Rapid regeneration: you already have a self heal, power surge, that is plenty enough slack for a healer especially with a damage shield.
Crystal fragments: remove this from your back-bar, on your main it should have plenty enough chances to proc especially when you are keeping a shield up.
Power Surge: the long duration of this skill could be better kept on back-bar as it will persist on bar swapping.
Boundless Storm: same reason as power surge.
Volatile familiar: Align his allocated position on front-bar with back-bar so there isn't confusion on skill positioning when swapping.
Soul Trap: Not a very good skill for damage but if you're just leveling and waiting to replace it as abilities unlock, it will suffice.

It looks like there's a disconnect between your two bars here. You should try to see them as working together. I think of my them like Bar 1 is my attack bar and bar 2 is my buffs and ground attacks bar. This way you go into battle on bar 2, get all buffed up and drop your AOE attacks then you switch to bar 1 and do the bulk of your attacks. Here's 2 bar setup examples you could try out:

Bar 1: Sharpened Lightning staff with shock enchant
Inner Light (10% more critical Chance+ 7% more magicka with all Mage's Guild Passives)
Endless Fury (Your execute. As DPS you should have one whenever you can)
Familiar
Boundless Storm (AOE damage, 6 seconds of speed boost, 8% damage mitigation)
Hardened Ward
Ult: Shooting Star (One of the best single target Ultimates, does great AOE too and gives bonus magic)

Bar 2: Sharpened Lightning staff with weapon/spell damage enchant
Power Surge (20% boost to spell damage and heals you when you crit. Best on your back bar)
Deadric Prey (Your pet will do a ton more damage. Best used on boss fights)
Familiar
Elemental Blockade (One of the best AOEs in the game, a must have for sorcs. Put 75 champion points in Thaumaturge to make the most of it)
Liquid Lightning (Incredible AOE, must have)
Ult: Destruction Staff ultimate (Best AOE ultimate in the game)

Start on your back bar, drop your AOE attacks and pulse your pet, swap to front bar and heavy attack with your staff. You'll have no issues with resource sustain and enemies in your AOEs will melt.

Option 2:
Bar 1: Sharpened Inferno staff with shock enchant
Inner Light
Force Pulse
Familiar
Crystal Frags
Hardened Ward
Ulti: Shooting Star

Bar 2: Sharpened Lightning staff with weapon/spell damage enchant
Power Surge
Endless Fury
Familiar
Elemental Blockade
Liquid Lightning
Ulti: Destro

This one focuses more on single target damage. It will use more resources so you'll have to be sure to weave some heavy attacks to keep things going.

Some notes: Gold out your staffs. You'll get about 200 more spell damage per bar.
Max magicka/max health food is probably best. Witch Mother's Brew would be nice on option 2.
Get some Willpower Jewelry to start. You can buy it from guild traders. You'll see a nice boost to damage and max magicka.
Illambris, Grothdar, and Valkyn Skoria are the better choices for the build. Illambris for option 2 and Grothdar for option 1.
I have no idea what level you are so if your health is low try Skoria to boost that up

thanks for replys, ill try those options, im CP281, got my max magika at 35000 with familiar active, i usually use food to boost health to 19k. thats the longest part is getting to gold lol, dreugh was is bloody expensive lol.
