Not sure if it helps, but you can remove things from your extra bank slots and Craft Bag if your ESO Plus membership lapses. You just can't add anything anything new.

And as you craft things, the mats are pulled from your craft bag and not your bank/bag space, so the inventory pain of ending your sub drags on for months.

Not sure if it helps, but you can remove things from your extra bank slots and Craft Bag if your ESO Plus membership lapses. You just can't add anything anything new.

My sub lapsed for a day and you really, really start to notice what ton of junk 56 Hirelings send you every day.

I can't imagine what'd happen without this nice "everything stays in the bag until you remove it" fail safe. It'd be like your crafting bag became a nail bomb and explode all over everyone else logging in next to the Shadowy Supplier.

My sub ran out yesterday and I really can't be bothered playing the annoying inventory management game. My bank is at 340/200 and just the thought of sorting out the excess so I can even start to do things like I don't know use my crafter to make gear for an alt is just not worth the time and frustration. I'll log in every day to train my riding skill on a couple of Alts and play other games in the mean time.

The game is buy to play, sub to enjoy.

This is the drug of eso+ GFL ever unsubbing once you just log in and play vs dedicating an hour at least managing your inventory and bank at every log in.

Hi Jessica. My bank is absolutely rammed - I would need to take over 200 items out my bank just to get one new armour set and weapons to one of my characters. I'll be resubbing in a few days but yeah - a tiny bit annoying. Life goes on though!

Yes, but it's too late to revert to that now.

Helpful tip: if you have a friend you can trust, send the items you want to pass to another character to said friend with the instruction to have them hit return to sender. Them log in on your at and pull the items out of the mail.

That's how my friends and I got around the bank space dilemma before we could afford the upgrades and eso+ perks were a thing.

There's nothing wrong with the principle of paying for something you enjoy. Buy to play with an optional sub is an infinitely better model than F2P, even if you pretty much need to sub if committed to the game. I'm afraid the days of sub-only are long gone thanks to all those who expected to be able to play games without committing to paying for them.
