What are the highest selling BoE sets? As well as other items? I've played the game for years and I have never really accumulated any wealth, so I want to start working on making my toons above the poverty line. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

✭✭most valuable stuff you can sell that doesn't take a long time to farm is probably attunable crafting stations, around 300-350k. Not a lot of people selling these yet because most who are getting enough vouchers to acquire them are using them for themselves.

✭✭✭✭✭The easiest to obtain, bread and butter items are gold upgrade materials. So, Temper, Wax, and Kutas (Rosin sell at a slightly lower frequency).
There are no, perennially valuable drop sets. They are too easy to obtain. With those what you're looking for are the right traits. For example, a random piece of purple Plague Doctor may only be worth 2-3k, but a sturdy piece is serious money. If a set is more valuable in PvP than PvE, you're usually looking for impen, for PvE, you're usually looking for Divines, Sturdy for tanks. For weapons, sharpened is usually the order of the day, defending for tanks, with powered or precise for healing weapons.
But, really, keeping track of what's valuable with drop sets isn't easy. Those are the jackpot rolls, when they break in your favor. Not the stuff you build a fortune off of.5 -

✭yeah the minute u finish farming a set- it stops being bis. spent 3 months getting bsw, then scathing mage, now thats nerfed- and it looks like freaking torugs pact now- a bloody 3 trait crafted set. far out...
i get why they want diversity in sets and builds- but sometimes it nice to also have hierarchy. if everyone drove around in ferraris- they'd stop being special.1 -

this is the best way imo to make gold plus you can sell the stacks of refined mats I have over 200mil from just farming and writs.
I like to add that gear grind can make money but in the time you farmed for the wep or gear that's worth gold I already made that plus more in farming mats.
Not only or gold mats worth a lot but bc of housing greens blues and purple values gone way up too.
After you get a few mil together from farming about 2-4 weeks depending how many hours you farm then you can move to reselling. Reselling is best done when you find out wat gear is BiS or people are farming like crazy for then you look up how much it sells for find for say 50-100k less and flip it for profit.
You can turn 2-3 mil into 10-20 mil in a week0 -

Last time I checked pts patch notes 5 piece bonus was nerfed from 4k to 3,5k1 -

a bit more than a manor atm I believe, i've been farming these as well just harder to sell now since people are chesting for them now instead of buying them.
But yeah still sell for a good bit if they do, about 100-250k per page, so yeah a bit over a manor price, I've probably found about 50 some odd pages since morrowind released at first they were insane droprates cause of a bug but they increased the chances to find them now but still hard to find as well.

But I agree, farming mats is the best way to make gold. It's just not nearly as good as it used to be. Last year, at this time, you could make at least 2x as much in one hour of farming.1 -

You´ve to farm a decent amount to make 1 million/week by only farming mats. If you´ve a great farming spot and get to be alone you can farm around 900 raw mats/hour (talking killing animals and stuff just as an example), give or take +/- 100. Let´s say you refine all you´ll get on average 5 goldtempers (in this case dreugrwax). That´s around 27-30k ish/hour. Let´s say that you can farm 3-5 hours/day (most ppl have work and such and farming rawmats isn´t that much fun tbh, but everyone is entitled to their own playstyle I guess). So adding all up you "can" earn 1 million/week. But you need good dedication and some luck with the refining rng for that as well. Not saying it´s impossible but not the funniest way I would spend my time in game2 -

But like you said that's about 2-3 hours of farming every day it's a lot of work3
