The camp just reset a few hours ago. The leader board's are a joke.

A single AD player with 2400 points, 4 dc on board, and about 14 ep.

No one is that interested in getting the perma emp title when Xarxes closes for good?

FYI Kastav's wide open for perma emp as well. Really surprised some of the bigger Vivec and Sotha guilds haven't come in for it, it'd be very easy for any coordinated 20 man to steamroll either of these campaigns from what I've seen.

ZOS will probably close Xarxes because it is empty. It is empty because the emp is always on and will go to any resource that is UA and flip it back, keeping the entire map one color. Now the population is so low for all 3 alliances, that nothing will change and it won't be worth while for ZOS to spend any money on it. Then the same people will complain about everyone being crammed into a crowed server will long queue times, not even realizing they caused the problem.

The two temp campaigns I expect will be closed during maintenance tomorrow. And they should. There's lots of room in Shor. Even given the post-Mayhem pvp fatigue, population is low. The biggest pop I saw last night on Shor was one bar DC and AD and two bars EP, and that's on a Saturday night. The entire AD faction was about 12-15 people last night and I'd be surprised if DC's numbers were much different; I didn't see a single blue all night.

By comparison, the old Haderus was usually at least 3 bars across prime time weekends, and EP often pop-locked.

It's clear that all three 7 day campaigns are far from being competitive, but by going back to 1 (Shor) then maybe that will change.

Sadly, Xerxes is a farm campaign for the current (only) Emperor who seems to be online at every waking moment eager to thwart anyone from taking a resource let alone a keep. PVP is reduced to flipping resources and playing hide-and-seek with the emp on a map where every keep has been red for days (with 1 or 2 brief exceptions). This turns away new players from joining the fight as numbers clearly show EP at nearly triple the population of AD/DC. Ive tried to rally others to join in but needless to say they get bored of the status quo and dont want to play a dead server stacked against them.

@ZOS_GinaBruno please do away with Xerxes tomorrow during the maintenance and restore some semblance of balance.

I think we'll see the extra 2 7-day campaigns close today with the patch. There is no reason for them and far better that those who prefer a 7-day campaign are all on one.

This is funny, as of either last night 10pm central or 3am central both xarx and kestav are all blue and shor IC. So 2 full maps and 3 IC full districts blue.

Yeah, took a 6 man group in there. Apparently he has people on call to come in and help out if anyone so much as looks at a keep funny, because he brought in about even numbers within 10 minutes. Pretty hard to deal with 15k dawnbreakers dropping every 10 seconds or Trees that provide 15k hps. Was totally balanced.

Whoever's helping him out. I hope the blowjobs he's giving you are worth it.

@Subversus I also have to wonder why they're trying so insanely hard to get the perma-emp title from close of a campaign, when so many people know that you can get it any time you're emp by doing something at the right time in the right way/process (not going to give details in here, as I consider that to be a clear exploit if you do it intentionally - though a few people got it accidentally including 3 friends about 2 years ago back in the Misfitz days).
