230 items missing my from my bank!!!

I quit the game 6 weeks ago and decided to come back two days ago. So I sent in an email to have 4 characters restored. During the restoration roughly 230 items mostly gold bound items and lots of vma weapons somehow disappeared from my bank. I was not told to clear my bank before the restoration. I have all the email to prove it and will post some of necessary. I sent in an email this morning staring that the items were gone and some guy named Brian just told me that the items were given to someone else or sold to a vendor. I did that to NONE OF THOSE ITEMS as those were the items I wanted it I decided to come back to the game. My gamertag is xRaHx Piayer and I play XB1 on the north American server.

Andd.. You deleted your characters when you left?

Sounds like a personal problem. Be glad they restored anything. Oh, and did you also have ESO Plus and cancel it when you left? That probably truncated your bank size and blocked restoration of ITEMS THAT YOU DELETED and have no guarantee of being restored.

Why would anyone delete VMA, infallible aether, and moondancer sharpened & precise staves? I didn't delete any of the items I want bank. Get your facts straight. Those items were still in my bank when they restored my characters. They THEN told me to empty my bank before they restore my characters so no items will be lost. They ****ed up their procedure. Their fault 100%

Probably for the same reason someone would delete 4, 4 characters - I imagine, much like everyone I know who's done the same thing that you thought you wouldn't come back.

I've had an account recovered before and never lost any items.

I've also accidentally deconstructed items before the lock functionality was in place - When I asked for them back, they knew exactly when and what I'd done with the items.

I've sold items to the store when I've been bashing sell on my inventory of trash and sometimes, for whatever reason, the store seems to refresh and you lose items in the buy back tab - I've had one or two items recovered this way as well and they knew the trader I sold the items to, the time and date - I didn't even know what I'd done with these items because it was so easy to do.

Sounds like human error and regret for giving away stuff when you quit.

At best there's the case that you were hacked and someone sold your *** and took the resulting money? Did you ask about whether or not you were hacked? Seriously though, like BNOC said, they know a lot and if they can't prove it you're kinda out of luck.

You keep saying restored my characters.

The only way they would need to be restored is if you deleted them.

I was gone 14 months, no sub or even login, and everything was right where I left it when I came back.

They sent me a list of things I did delete and sell to the vendor. None of my precise or sharpened vma, IA or MD staves/swords were on the list. Seems I am making progress with them.

As others have said, why did you delete everything? ZOS did not force you to delete everything, and all the evidence you have shared is that ZOS has gone out of their way to restore as much as possible, which is very generous. You said you had ESO+ before so you probably had double bank space, but now without it you have less bank space. That is not the fault of ZOS.

I took about a yearlong break from the game. I canceled my ESO+ and stopped logging in but deleted nothing. When I returned everything was right where I left it. The only thing was that I had to re-spend my skill points because they had done one of the resets due to changes at some point.

It sounds like you left the game angry and deconstructed/sold some stuff at the time. Again, not the fault of ZOS.

I'm at a loss when you said you had characters restored and only six weeks prior you quit the game. Why oh why would you delete your characters just because you quit? I'm surprised they gave you anything back. I played many mmo's over the years. Never would I even think about deleting any characters I have worked so hard to level because I may decide to go back and play that game for awhile again. Never make a decision in haste or because of anger if that was the case. Just saying.......

I didn't delete items. I put them in the bank so they wouldn't go missing when I deleted my characters. You guys must be illiterate.
