Your XBOX One is probably using IPv4 protocol but you can check with your cable provider for IPv6 upgrade. The expansion removes the need for NAT(Network Address Translation) which can interfere with multiplayer gaming and chat over IPv4 networks. Check your network settings on XBOX ONE to see if you are running the old or new protocol.
