The most annoying thing about horses in ESO is that they have a small moment where they slow down after you jump. Its insanely annoying in Cyrodiil. When I switched to the bear mount for my orc, I never switched back. On the bear I can jump and remain running at the same speed when I am jumping or landing from a fall.

Always wondered if certain mounts could avoid this problem. Are there other mounts/heights/bodytypes/personalities/skins/etc etc etc that people have found have provide additional 'buffs' in pvp? Things like being able to fit under arches/bridges that taller characters can't and such.

Senche mounts have good speed and are great at jumps, but lack some maneuverability in turning. Guar are a little slower but have great maneuverability. The differences I've noticed are very slight and are not enough to favor one mount over another. Ride whatever fits your style and costume.

Mount speed is same with any mount. positioning creates an illusion of going faster or slower that's no different with cars we drive irl.
