Werewolf build-tips for PvP (defensive sets)

Hi everyone. For the next patch I´ve been thinking about playing some werewolf with my stamDK in PvP. At the moment I know what kind of offensive/damage set(s) I will use, the problem/issue is the defensive set. I´ve been trying to look for some builds on Youtube and such, but the majority of those builds are outdated. As far as I know there´re a few sets that are good for WW in PvP when it comes to the defensive/surviveability part (might be more good sets that I don´t mention, but that´s the reason I post this ;) )

- Orgnum´s Scale
- Beekeeper
- Trollking
- 7th Legion (Is the HP gained from the 5-piece bonus affected by "Battle Spirit???? Would really like to know)

The issue with the first three is that Health regen will be affected by minor/major defile next patch (as if HP-regen builds were a problem, but anyway). So I´m wondering if these are still good options or what kind of set(s) I should go for? I´ve no problem with spending time farming gear so any set(s) are welcome to be mentioned. As I see it the self-healing part about WW is the difficult part (not sure how good the heal from the skill-line is, but as far as I know it scales out of max magicka, which we won´t have much of).

What about 2nd 5-piece set? Need something that offers heal/surviveability since the self-heal from WW skill-line isn´t the strongest :P

I read somewhere that Leki's is a good defensive set for WW, since Dawnbreaker is an AoE and commonly used against WWs. I haven't personally tried it yet, though

Aspect of mazzatun is nice, u get all 3 stats which will be buffed next patch and u also get resources back when u fall below 30%, as a ww mag and stam are used alot aswell.

I've been running Kena/Pelinal's/Impregnable on my templar wolf (DwBackBar). 5 1 1 heavy, 4 well fitted, 3 impen. Tristat glyphs, Tristat food. Very strong and unaffected next patch.

My Dk has been testing out kena, shackelbreaker, trainee. 5 1 1 heavy. Tristat/trifood. Been doing fine in human form. Werewolf is a beast though.

I'm currently running trollking/orgnum's/7th legion and am doing quite fine so far (orc).
Sometimes it feels like i would need a bit more dmg, but it's a really good build to learn to play the wolf i feel, caus it's tanky as hell.

IF you use anything but troll king as a werewolf, you're probably doing it wrong.
    You need the damn healing.

I´ve tried out a new build with Pelinial. My WW-heal heals me for 15k non-crit. No need for Trollking with that kind of selfheal. Sure Trollking helps, but IMO it´s only good if you already have a lot of HP-regen.

    Argonian DK WW

Argonian racial passives are great- combine with tri-stat healing potion.

WW heal + Claws of Life skill (#5 morphed to heal 52% of the damage)

With the recent DLC now friendly effects are big green circles on the ground... so it is much easier to get some group/zerg heal

    5 Hulking Draugr
(5 SnB/4 Bow) Automaton or Salvation
various Monster helm sets... depending on the group

    * Claws of Life skill ---- can I tag multiple enemy and get heals from each? Not sure. If not, I may change to the other morph for the Defile.

Personally, I found that more important than the armor sets is learning when to pounce in and when to dis engage.

There is an EP WW wolf pack that runs around Cyridil. The guy posted a YouTube of his build and the fun action.

I run PC-NA, DC with LFG Army. Love to have more WW in the group!

    Sounds like a tankier WW-build :)
I think Claw of Anguish is too good to pass out on. The major defile debuff is very strong. You´re correct when facing multiple enemies, Claw of Life gives heal for each enemy, since they all take disease damage.

I´m using Chrlynsch setup with Prisoner/7th Legion + Pelinial and Kena. A very good setup. The builds I´ve trouble with are stamplars (that rely their defence on dodgerolling 24/7), stamwarden (Which is broken on so many levels) and nightblades (since they cloak as soon as they go low on HP). Stamsorcs can be annoying but in general not difficult to handle. The setup is very good against tanky opponents as stamDK or high HP magplars. It´s also nice agains magsorcs since you rely your damage output on high weapondamage, which is very effective against shields.

Too bad we´re on different servers or I would´ve loved to join you people in Cyrodil as Werewolf. Seems like not many people here on EU runs WW in cyrodil.

Some might laugh but what about wizards riposte?

It could be useful for heals in werewolf form but the real attraction is the minor maim on attackers.

In that case I would use Shadowrend instead :). The 1-piece with magicka recovery is really nice for WW as well :)

And the set got a really cool looking animation. Sure Wizards Riposte works on multiple enemies compared to Shadowrend.
