Yeah, you'd wonder why people constantly post the same complaints thinking that ZoS are going to sit up and listen to them, when they didn't listen to the 200 other posts...
Also, I think the clue is in the name, 'Nightblade'. A blade from the night. Powerful single target damage. Why is anyone surprised when then get ganked by a NB? It's what they were designed to do...
Perma dodge? Perma hide?
This class is a bad joke
You can hide and crit before battle start , but spwn hide keep dodge endless....
All run viper selene poison inject caltrop - BG is so broken with all those farmers , PVP is so broken with those farmers
The only other disgustingthing is ze zergs group
Nothing can perma dodge or perma hide.
Get better at hitting things and use a detect pot.PS4 EU DC

✭✭✭No Offense to anyone but...yeah I agree somewhat, I can't play a nightblade for my life, I have tried but I find that the build is too squishy and while I appreciate and am in awe to some players who can play a nightblade well there are some things that I can't understand When I face off against some nightblades the amount of stuff they can dodge is...ridiculous no kidding, all you gotta do is throw off constant arrows at these nightblades and not one thing hits them, and then they run around a tree or rock for the rest of the time, and I get bored and run off because I really can't be bothered to chase them, but then they come at you with critical rush and you turn around to attack and well your dead because they have hit you with contstant attacks.
HOW I want to know the mechanics here haha
I doubt it is the nightblade class that dodges everything. It's probably the skills they use that are available to all classes. Dodge roll, shuffle or potions.
As @leepalmer95 already mentioned. It's the proc sets that kills you, not the NB class. A (stam) sorc with the same procsets is just as deadly. And they too can dodge roll leaving an eternal hunt trap behind, run around a tree and come back use shuffle and dodge everything.
The only reason people mention NB for this is because NB's have little other choice then to gank as their squishiness don't allow them to go toe to toe with other classes. So most (stam)NB's use only this setup because it is the stronkest.

RedFireDisco✭✭✭✭I think you've encountered a statistical outlier in this and there are many permutations and variables that would suggest this is not as common as your n=2 sample size would suggest.
The good news is you could slot the magelight morph that reduces stealth damage by 50%, which would have gone a long way to mitigate a fair bit of this aforementioned damage.
I have a useful suggestion and I hope you really take it on board because I've seen it work innumerable times for people who worry about NB's. You could take some practice time and... Git Gud.2 -

Indeed, but those usually come with data, valid information and proper examples. Viper isn't just something the NBs use, and it's getting nerfed soon anyway.

Cloak itself is a somewhat broken mechanic, but it's a nb's signature mechanic, and it is true that their survivability is not good outside of cloak.
Surprise attack is strong but completely fine.
Proc sets are just ridiculous, of course I can't get mad at someone for using them (I've used them on the past with nb too, and have no regrets), but the amount of damage they deal is far too high. I am looking forward to the nerfs.0 -

They have the best single target damage in game in pvp now, best escape ( hello dodge roll 100% dodge chance looks like+ cloack....????)
Dodge roll must be broken for NB, they dodge EVERYTHING, ZERO DAMAGE TAKEN, then go into stealth, wait 10 seconds for cd's or ultimate then come back and destroy the target.
THIS IS NOT BALANCED, they can even play NAKED WITH SAME RESULTS!
If we factor in the proc sets also, where their pants are killing the other players, not their skill...yeah, the game is doomed until NB CLASS IS GETTING NERFED ACROSS THE BOARD

I mean do you mostly PvE and are just not used to getting killed?
Did you come to the conclusion that nerfs were the only solution by straight up rage or by actually thinking things over?
Are you playing a class that perhaps deserves a buff instead of just blind asking for nerfs?
Do you honestly think you play enough/are good enough to have won these fights if not for the skills used?
On a similar note do you approach every battle the same way regardless of the class of your opponent?
It just seems like most if not all of these questions don't come into play when a nerf thread sprouts up and we're all currently muddling through an endless field of nerf sprouts . If it's not sorcs it's nightblades. Honestly I feel bad for DKs and Templars. Seems like the test on whether or not a class is up to par is how often they're asked to be nerfed1
