Healing Ward scaling and other abilities

Hi
I have been working on an hybrid build and been using the pelinial set which set your highest spell or weapon damage to the other and there is a slight bug with it since I sometime get my spell damage 7 point more or weapon damage 7 point more sometimes. Also the problem is abilities that are scaling solely from magicka and not spell power like healing ward, all the other restoration skills scale of magicka AND spell power exept healing ward. Is there any plans to change this ? It makes hybrid build kind of at a massive disadvantage and would be more viable if such skills would scale from BOTH max magicka and spell power like many other abilities in the game. Thank you. Let me know what you think

All wards except barrier are intentionally based on max stats and thus extremely weak on hybrids that have to split their resource attributions. I haven't heard of any intention to change this.
    PC NA
    Capped CP
    Breton Magsorc - Cellobuddy
    Argonian Magplar - Cellobuddyheals
    Altmer Magblade - Cellobuddysteals
    Dunmer MagDK - Cellobuddyburns
    Orsimer Stamsorc - Cellobuddyruns
    Redguard Stamplar - Cellobuddyjabs
    Khajiit StamDK - Cellobuddyslices
    Bosmer Stamblade - Cellobuddysnipes
    Altmer Magplar - Cellobuddybeams
    Nord DK - Cellobuddytanks
    Breton Magden - Cellobuddylistens
    Orsimer Stamden - Cellobuddyprotects
    Argonian Tankden - Cellobuddypaintswithwind

Not the best by any means, but I get the job done.

healing ward is the only ward in the game that takes spell damage into consideration, here are the skill coefficients:

    $1 = 0.09272 Magicka + 0.97371 SpellDamage + 6.04468
    Magicka, R2 = 1.00000, Ratio = 10.50

    $2 = 0.04001 Magicka + 0.41979 SpellDamage - 0.82062
    Magicka, R2 = 1.00000, Ratio = 10.49

Call on your staff's strength to protect you or the lowest health ally around you with a damage shield that absorbs $1 damage while also healing the target for $2 Health.

The shield's strength is increased by up to 300%, depending on the severity of the target's wounds.

When the shield expires, the target is healed for 100% of the ward's remaining strength.

No it does not use spell damage for the strenght of the shield but only the heal that you get from using it initially. This is outdated and shields exclusively scale from max stat wwhich makes hybrid not an option and it's just sad. I did ssome testing btw just a few days ago during a duel : I checked the tooltip with my spell damage unbuffed which gave me a 1400 shield and then buffed my spell damage and the shields was the exact same value as it was when i was unbuffed

this is false, i have done my own testing and the ward increases in size with spell damage, from both minor and major sorcery, the formula that i have presented is accurate.

I can concur, I received the same result as well. I used healing ward with resto staff as the 5th piece of kag's, and with a random resto staff of the same trait and quality both with and without major and minor sorcery.

I would like note that from a pvp perspective, the difference between having kag's 5th piece and major sorcery compared to lack of 5th piece without major sorcery, for me, was only a difference in shield strength listed in the tooltip of about 600, applying battle spirit. (I was trying to see if having two different 5 pieces on each bar would greatly affect shield strength)
