What triggers a weapon enchant?

Hello possibly really foolish no brainer question, but I know that (obviously) light attacks and heavy attacks activate your weapon enchant if it is off cooldown. However, I also know that some weapon abilities proc the weapon enchant. Is there a list somewhere of what all weapon abilities will proc your weapon enchant?

Weapon enchants and poisons are procced by heavy/light attacks and weapon abilities. Any other skill, like class or guild skills, won't trigger them.

A proper answer is light and heavy attacks and direct damage weapon abilities. I know each enchantment has a different cooldown time.

Infused trait and Torug's Pact boosts the enchantment further.

Get Combat Metrics add on, and enable the CMX battle log to show outgoing damage. You'll see a 2nd tab on your "Chat" box. Click it. Ideally, get or find someone with a combat skeleton dummy or find trash mobs in the wild. Do the attack in question, and watch the log for the proc. You should see something like "burning" appear for flame, "befoulded" for disease, etc.

Weapon enchant can proc from Elemental Drain with destro staff, which does no direct damage. It's a shame every weapon ability can proc an enchantment except those used from a resto staff. Why can't we proc an enchant with a resto ability too? It would hardly break the game if the same rules of proc chance and cool down are applied. Would help healer builds a lot for enchant up-time in places where we may struggle to weave resto skills with light attacks.
