Haha yep. This is the concept that not many players remember now. I've always thought DK to be the tanky class, Templar as the healing tanky class, sorc as immense DPS class, and NB as this opportunistic DPS class, which it should be. The classes used to be that way way-back-when, but with players that never understood this class concept complaining about other classes... the game has definitely made the wrong turn.
As for alain, the whole "play it your way" was meant for you to play within the concept of each class, as in diverse viable builds which this game seriously lacks as competitive PvP is only possible with BiS sets and playstyle. Let's not take "play it your way" out of context, shall we? If ZOS meant what you said it meant, then DK's tanking skill lines would be available to all the classes. (As for some ES fans like myself, we were actually expecting this game to be like other ES games, no specified classes and all which would've seriously encouraged creativity and the whole "play it your style" premise, but that's long way gone).0 -

Templar as the best healer in the game is debateable... As long as the Templar's complete healing skill tree synergizes as poorly with the class and it's passives as it does, and both Sorc and Wardens have every possibility of out healing Templars while Templars stand no chance in hell to out DPS Sorcerers i.e., there is a balance only in people's mindsets.
