This is as close as I can get to beating Molag Bal in the main quest "God of Schemes." I have now sacrificed the Prophet a total of about 7x attempting at various times and ways, with different builds and weapons, sacrificed a Sahan and Lyris for the hell of it. But everytime I get to this point there is never a prompt to form the bridge from the floating bits of rock. I've tried getting a running jump and leaping to my death which results in enemies on the other side running thru the thin air to the side I am stuck on to attack me, I've tried /ritual, I tried leaving and starting all over many many many times. I even tried /bug a month and a half ago. Shining some light on it with the Twilight shard memento isn't cutting it either.

:/ What to do...

Eh, maybe you should have abandoned the "God of Schemes" quest instead .... just saying. If ever I felt that I had to delete a character because TESO software is so corrupt that I cannot successfully complete the Main Quest (among others), then soon I would be playing some other game instead. It just isn't worth the stress and frustration when the reward should be pleasure and satisfaction.

Had there been a choice to abandon a Main Story quest there, I would have taken it.. alas there was not, as I tried in my dozen or so attempts to make this quest work.

Submitting a ticket is one thing ... following up on it apparently is outside the realm of feasibility for some (especially if it hinders progress on a long questline).

But what is done is done ... even if all the avenues of recourse weren't explored.

This can happen. I was stuck on a main story quest in Deshaan once which wouldn't allow bosmer characters to pull a lever, which was necessary to advance the quest.

Took them more than two months to fix it, though they did eventually. What's irritating is that CS immediately close a ticket as if the problem is fixed. Such tickets should remain open until the bug is fixed.

I can only advise you to proceed down any of the many other avenues of progression and hope they fix this soon. But if they take too long, you can submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. They're an independent non-government group who try to help with this sort of customer complaint. They've helped me a few times with MMO problems, including with ESO.

It's up to you to decide how long qualifies as too long. But personally I think bugs with main story quests should be highest priority. Story is one of the game's main selling points. Not being to access it is serious.

/bug is not the same with submit a ticket. /bug is just report a bug and move on. The devs might fix it months later. Submit a ticket is personally request an assist from GM and not move on till it's fixed for you. The bug might not be fixes and still happen to other characters, but GMs can skip it and finish that quest for you. They've done that for me before.

Nope. That's not how it works in ESO.

If you submit a ticket about something which CS determine is a bug, they close the ticket immediately.

They do not progress characters past the bug.

Hmmm.... I have not been aware that there is no option to abandon the quest "God of Schemes". I'll be looking at it eventually because I have two alts that I expect to complete the Main Quest within the next two months or so.

By the way, what does /ritual do? The only command that I've ever used is /bug -- other than several "emotes".

Turns out... not a whole lot when it comes to bugs..

Has this bug been fixed yet? The following Patch Notes briefly describe a flaw in "God of Schemes" that has been remedied (we hope):

    PC/Mac Patch Notes v. 3.2.12

For what it is worth, I've been offline for a while upgrading the computer hardware, etc., during which I encountered more problems than I care to discuss. Regardless, it seems to me that in my absence ZOS reverted to some previous version of the Forum software. When I last saw it, there were at least two or three "pages" for this discussion which now has only the first one available.
