All I needed was a single win in BG to get my title and head cosmetic, and bruh... These teams are so bad. 7 games straight, and all 7 had the most bizarre and flat out bad teammates you can imagine. I'm talking a CP300-something NB healer in all heavy armor. A MagSorc running Ice Furnace and a 2H and Destro. All types of weird and obscure stuff. It's like the amount of just bad builds just came out of nowhere and multiplied.
But! Ya mans had a change of RNG regarding teammates on game 8, and we got that thing done with the swiftness.
My advice to everyone looking to get the achievement for Battlegrounds is to do it with friends or guildies. That way you have consistency and reliability. Because solo'ing it is NOT the way to go. Please save yourselves the frustration that I went through, and just do yourself a huge favor by linking up with those you know for a fact will be successful. Nothing is worse than losing over and over again, all because of incompetence and a lack of care due to others. And unlike a lot of competitive games, you can't carry the team. Not possible.

✭✭✭Assuming the system is indeed trying to pit pre mades vs premades you might actually have an easier time solo unless you can get a particularly op group together. Because a lot, if not most, premades are likely to be experienced good players teamed up together on well synergized builds. Question is, are your chances against those with friends at your side higher than against randoms with randoms at your side? Just something to consider
I've been relatively lucky with my solo queues I guess. Kinda feels like most people are catching up on BG modes etc, even if they aren't exceptionally good at actual combat.1
