VMA - Easy to obtain stamina sets - advice sought?

Hello,

I am thinking of trying VMA with one of my stamina classes (DK, NB or Sorc - probably the dk/sorc) and wondered if anyone can recommend any sets that are easy to obtain (craft/buy) that it can be done in. Most of the videos I see suggest 5 x vicious ophidian (I dont have it nor know how to get it) and TBS. I have spriggans and hundings rage!

Any advice appreciated.

i completed VMA on my stamblade with 5 spriggans 5 TBS. Nightblades are one of the hardest classes to do it on aswel. 5 Viscious ophidian and 5 twice fanged serpant is best in slot for it and can be found in the 12 man trial sanctom ophidia, Viscious ophidian set can also be found in Helra citadel and Atherian Archive. As of late i have been using a stamsorc with 5 VO 5 TFS and 2 handed sword and bow, I find this to be very effective in VMA getting sub hour time and leaderboard scores. I am by no means a pro at VMA either. Stamsorc is really strong in there, hope this helps.

what is Helra and Atherian? Sorry I haven't spent any time doing trials. are trials easy to join as a trial noob?

Hel Ra, Aetherian Archive, and Sanctum Ophidia are all trials located in Craglorn and were the first ones the game had to offer. They're pretty easy to get into in normal mode. Usually you can join a PvE guild that does frequent runs or find someone in chat looking for people. Doing the vet versions is much harder to get into as most groups require a certain DPS check that has to be met. Usually 23k to 30k DPS on a test dummy.

You got it. One more note. If you really want to farm that trials gear, I'd recommend looking for a trials guild. Lots of people will already have that gear by now so if you have a guild with you many people will just give you the VO or TFS gear they find that they don't need any more as better geared guild mates are more useful to the guild. You can sometimes get full sets of just what you need after just a few runs that way.

Hundings Rage and Night Mother's Gaze can work very well together. Should be able to complete with these two sets. Both craftable.
