I used to see that loading screen all the time, and I have never seen a game master with the ZoS symbol next to their name.

Bonzodog01✭✭✭✭✭Now, whilst we have never seen a GM physically on console, you better believe that devs and some of the customer team do play.
However, they log-in on normal player accounts with their own personal Gamertag/PSN, play as everyone else does, and monitor for situations. If something does bug out, they have an invisible GM alt that can go in and correct any situation.
I have actually seen this happen on XBox EU around a year ago, when I was running with a mixed zerg in cyrodiil. There were one or two Americans in the group, but we thought nothing of it, as its not that unusual.
I happened to mention in voice chat (this was before One Tamriel, and text chat) how one of the forts was unable to change ownership, and had glitched out for around the last two weeks. Within 10 minutes, it had been reset to unclaimed, and someone was able to go in and claim it. ✭There were a few gamemasters that popped up on zone chats during the mass rubberbanding effects (what.. a couple months ago?) in Alik'r, Auridon and such. A couple were nice enough to inform they were on it (those rubberbanders) and were chatting a bit with folks on zone chat. However, they appeared briefly, maybe half an hour or so. I think they got a taste of how jacked up peeps can be on zone chats, because one gamemaster, I believe, was getting a bit annoyed. Folks constantly hitting him up and asking outlandish questions. It was like a frenzy almost, similar to a rock star who showed up on the street and groupies rushing at him or her. A few were also making borderline derogatory comments towards him and ZOS, in general. So, I haven't seen any pop up on the screen or zone chat since, and I don't blame them. Some peeps can be outright jacked up and vile on zone chat.0 -

The worst part is when it finally puts you in a group, your healer turns into a werewolf, your tank has 14k HP and the dps is heavy armor, using a restro staff and a two handed sword on the backbar. Then comes the 15 minute penalty before the cycle starts anew.

✭I've reported rubber banding on PS4 NA, for vulkhel guard and 2 weeks later they all disappeared, I didn't see them but I heard a GM actually came in early morning to check it out and purged them all lol0 -

Yep, same thing here. I had never seen one before but there was at least one hanging out in the chat on PS4 right before launch. Haven't seen them since either.
