I don't believe so. I imagine it is this way because once your ESO+ sub lapses, everything stays in the bag and they need a way to empty it out (rather than sub for a month and forever have the majority of your stuff in the bag)

There IS a setting so things don't automatically go in the bag, but that's all I know of - and not really what you're looking for.

You can right click the item in the craft bag and remove it to normal inventory. If that's what you're talking about.

Only after the bag is empty. If you had eso plus and dropped it they use the bag mats first, same for the free plus demo.

Yes, you can retrieve a stack, or part of a stack from the craft bag. It will remain in your inventory until you log out.

You can also set your Inventory to not automatically transfer to the Craft Bag.

But, I do have to ask, why do you want to add a layer of complication to the crafting? All Crafting stations pull from the craft bag, so no need to.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The OP is asking if you can draw materials from any source other than the craft bag when your sub runs out. Say you subbed and you have a large stash of materials in the craft bag.
You gather other materials along the way and, to save on the needlessly low cap of bank space, you would rather craft from bag and inventory space before you use what's in your craft bag.

No matter where your materials are (I just withdrew some mats from bank to inv to try to keep my craft bag mats where they are) the craft bag materials are ALWAYS use first.

IMO this is UNDERHANDED AF! Zen makes a buttload of money off ESO and this disgusting practice is simply GREED. It's anti-consumer, plain and simple. This "games as a service" BS has to be stopped.
Say NO to Crown Crates. Crown Crates are Loot Boxes. Loot Boxes are gambling. Zenimax makes enough money off us.
ESO+ is part of the "Games as a service" trend. A trend that needs to die. Subscribe only when you need Crowns for DLC.

So, you're saying you stopped your ESO+ subscription but you still want to keep your craft bag privileges??

There's a thread over at ESOUI asking the very same question. OP, if you didn't create that thread yourself, you could follow up on this over there.

If you don't have ESO+ active the order of priority goes:
    • Craft Bag
    • Inventory
    • Bank

(Materials in another characters inventory or in storage coffers cannot be used at all and won't even show up as available.)

I'm not completely sure but I think when you have ESO+ active it will reverse that and use ones in your inventory first, but to get them there you have to manually move them out of the craft bag or disable it so no new materials go in.

I only have ESO+ during free trials, so periodically all my materials are dumped into the crafting bag and then they start building up in my inventory again. Most of the time I ignore the separation - I have semi-arbitrary maximums for how much of each material I keep and I sell/delete anything over that. The only time it matters where they're stored is if I have over 200 in my inventory or bank, then even if I would like to keep more I'll sell them off because I want to keep it to 1 stack of each material.

If you were talking about Skyrim or Oblivion, you would have a point. But this game *is* a service.
