Early Update 15 builds?

Has anyone started on or attempted to theorycraft some early U15 builds yet?

I have a sneaking suspicion that @Alcast is possibly going to be making some significant changes to his builds.

I would love to start a new char, but I am now holding off until I see some solid theorycrafting around the U15 changes.

Alcast is probably waiting until his EU server characters get ported.

Gilliam the rogue is the theorycrafter that has been streaming his findings recently. He prefers nbs though

Shadow + precise has been the best for him...mostly.

I am starting to test stuff on PTS this week. No point creating builds yet as ZOS said that more balance changes are coming in last PTS week update. So this week I am going to test differnt things and the next week gonna start "building" and i hope I can have all builds ready on my website till Horns of the Reach goes live.

I know you'll be extremely busy but will you be considering some pvp aspects too?

I am curious about your distribution with cp pertaining to hardy, elemental defender, thick skinned, and ironclad. With ironclad and thick skinned being easier to raise to a higher percentage why not put more points into those instead of hardy and elemental defender? Are there a lot of abilities that get around the direct damage and damage over time reductions of those two champion points that do get reduced by hardy or elemental defender? I thought these all kind of worked in conjunction with each other on virtually all skills. Even ground targets seem to have a direct damage and/or damage over time aspect to them. Have been wondering this since morrowind was released.

Early to say, but I'm not sure that's gonna work. Depending what your opponent are running, you're gonna need more healing, I think with this patch, not less.

Best is to keep the builds to yourself till the patch actually goes live. However it does exclude reporting of bugs and such (though ZOS is hopeless in that department) but any unique idea, keep it hidden or else RIP even before your patch download is finished.

They just released set changes yesterday.

They will probably change/tweak them.

So, no.. dont expect anything til closer to or the day of HoR launch, because nothing is stable until then.

People have builds already, they're just reluctant to share them out of fear of them becoming FOTM, or devs nerfing them before the update even goes live.

I was helping Gilliam yesterday during his live stream. He was mostly testing out the changes to equipment. I'm not gonna share a build I came up with, it will require a lot of farming, but that is how life is...

With the buff to 1-4pc critical values and leviathan 5th piece, high crit builds will be easy. Combine with passive class crit damage boosts, minor force and the champion star.

Because crits hit harder than regular attacks. Even with 7 impen, crits do more damage. Only way to really stop that is stack to crit resist cap, but that gets outdone by anyone modifying crit dmg (read: templars, nightblades )
