Since the grouping tool seems to be broken, I wanted to throw this out there: queueing for a cyrodiil campaign successfully broke me out of a group that I was placed in via dungeon finder. I was stuck and unable to leave or disband, but I was the only EP character in group and queuing for a PvP campaign brought me into cyrodiil by myself. Hopefully other people will be able to make use of this - admittedly it doesn't help you put groups together, but at least you don't have to be stuck with people that you may or may not want to adventure with. Hope this helps! If you guys find any other ways around being stuck in queue or a group, please feel free to post them here.
