[Exploit] I Can Still Gap-Close Into Keeps

Please fix this, ZOS. It is still incredibly easy to gap-close into keeps and outposts in Cyrodiil, and is something that players can take advantage of. If you want further information, I'll be more than happy to go into detail in a PM about what I know about it. All that I ask is that it hopefully can be patched in a timely fashion. I also can show you devs a few more malicious things that you can do in Cyrodiil, that aren't intended but can be exploited with relative ease. Once again, just let me know in a PM. And I'll be more than happy to spill everything I know to you all. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Side Note:
No, I will NOT teach anyone how to do it (outside of devs). Nor will I go on a spree of entering keeps that my alliance does not own. Why? Because I'd be a hypocrite in going about cheesing something, when I can always be seen ranting about how much people do nefarious things to gain an advantage in PvP. So all of you tryhards looking to know how can look elsewhere. I'm not teaching you squat.

I hope not. I'm only trying to bring something to their attention quickly, which is why I made a thread rather than being the first to PM them. Things like this which get posted, rather than PM'd get hasty responses. So in me knowing this, hopefully mods will swarm this thread and take it down. This has been the go-to entrance for dragonknights since beta.

Used to be able to solo take outposts by tab targeting the guards on the flag at sej,bleakers and nikel and leaping through.

Any wall or door that can be broken down has a different mesh on them that allows you to pass through them. So if you can siege it, it can be passed through.

You are not showing them anything that hasn't been shown to them 100s if not 1,000s of times before, I just don't think they have an actual way to fix it with their current staff/engine

I would also take this down because you are legit showing yourself exploiting, which by all regards and their direct statements, should get you banned.

Send a message to Brian Wheeler explaining what happened and how it was unintentional . That stupid bug got a lot of people banned instead of fixed . No warnings , just bans . It needs fixed so people don't get banned for a broken mechanic that unintentionally drags them in .

If anyone ever does get dragged inside a castle with no breach they should get out immediately to avoid people reporting .

For the love of the divines, don't ban this person cause they're pointing out an exploit they discovered. I have seen various people manage to get into keeps without keep walls being down, and I assume they're either doing this or having help from fellow faction members.

Yep this is still around. It happens mostly on my nightblade when I try to teleport strike onto someone and stop them from running back into their keep, but then *boop* I'm inside and we just have an awkward moment staring at eachother.

Unfortunately ZoS idea to fix this issue is to make gap-closers even more unreliable. I'd rather it just be accepted as part of the game and have reliable gap-closers.

I can think of 2 ways off the top of my head that still work.

If someone is running away from you, you're not allowed to gap close them to stop them from going through a keep door.
Because in Cyrodiil we fight by Queensberry rules.

I crit rush through the main door of a keep a couple nights ago, I didn't even think that was possible. Wasn't this only a bug for teleport-style gapclosers??

Personally I enjoyed it back when DKs could leap into keeps, I mean using your ult to scale onto the walls and cause some havoc was pretty neat IMHO.

Whether or not it will get fixed, I have no idea. All I can do is bring awareness to it, and contact the staff of ZOS. You know? I can only do the right thing, and then hope for the best afterward. *shrugs.*

I will say it again, make the inside of a keep that has not been breached a death or health drain zone to enemy players.
Will also stop the rash of players hiding after a keep flips ganking you in your own keep.

I've chased players and hit ambush (gap closer) to try and hit them before they passed through a door. Rarely, I end up on the wrong side of a door as a result. Far from being happy about it, I'm usually killed instantly by guards and players. So I don't consider this an exploit. It's more an "Oh crap, now I'm dead" moment for me.

Leaving is not an option. You can't open doors to keeps you don't yet own.

Personally, I wish there were ways into keeps like DAoC, but I cant say Id know how to balance it for eso besides a slow building/moving ladder that would have limited use and some announcement it is going up
