Yep, I have an Imperial Templar healer so its more than possible for both PvE and PvP

Yeah like what build/gear/enchants do you use?

With my DC imperial Templar healer I run 5x Reactive 5x Stendarr 2x Blood Spawn but I run in Sotha Sil (No-CP) and I'm running in groups of 10-24. The build works great for protection and healing. For a CP campaign I would be running 5x Rective 5x Lich and 2x Blood Spawn, Troll King, or Pirate Skeleton and that also is great for both large and small groups.

For my moves I will normally have Efficient Purge, my primary spam heal, and inner light for Crit and more magicka with Remembrance for an ult . For my back bar I will have Ritual for a self purge and HOT ground ability and rune for my major ward & resolve. Also I will keep Nova on my back bar for an ult to reduce the enemy groups damage

Of course it's possible!

Maybe not a min/max character (Argonian would be the best healer choice) but you can definitely compete in endgame content.

In the end it's more about gear, CP and the skill of the player rather than the race. Take Woeler for example:

I believe he plays a Khajiit DK Tank as his main tank (correct me if I'm wrong), which he uses in endgame content

I'd go for it. I only play Bosmer. Now, Bosmer (or Nord) is not the meta choice for a templar healer but mine does fine. She's simply the shortest healer on the battlefield.

Picking race to support your class/spec is fine if race makes no difference to you. For those of us who pick race first and foremost, we have discovered that it is just not a big problem.

To 'compensate', I pay careful attention (gear, skills, enchants, CP, rotation) to enhance and optimize both her magicka pool and sustain. Also, try to work with what race benefits you do get. Bosmer lets her block and roll more for example.

For Nord specifics, I just reviewed your race. Like any magplar, put all 64 attribute points in magicka. Since your Nord has a strong bonus to health, you may be able to get away with enchanting with pure magicka enchantments. Most magic races need a bit of help from enchantments or sets to achieve 'survivable' health. Though most magplars won't boost stam, your stam bonus should help when you need to block / roll.

With a health bonus, your Nord should actually do better than my Bosmer (which does fine).
