Is magick dk really not good for vMA?

Havent tried it by myself but i review the leaderboard and find that DK has much lower score than sor and nbs. Also the highest score is done by a stamina dk so i really want to know how the performance that magick dk can do in vMA. Is this class really suck in vma or just cant reach high score but an easy one to finish it ?
How does it compare to magick sorcerer???

Ive beaten vma with stam sorc, mag sorc, and mag warden. Sorcs have it pretty easy compared to other classes esp mag sorcs.
I hardly ever see mag dk videos on youtube for vma.
Ive tried my mag dk for vma and literally quit on the bosses on the 2nd stage. They have horrible sustain, like one rotation and half your mag is gone, even with ele drain applied. They have no reliable self heal so youre gonna have to slot the other morph of green dragon blood, forgot the name or back bar a resto staff. And their passive to get resources back from ultimates got nerfed so its crappy. Not fun, i heard stam dks have it easier but i have no knowledge about that.
Thats my 2 cents, mag dks have it hard in vma, i suggest trying with a mag sorc if you have one

I seem to do just fine but then again it's the only class I tried on. Use burning embers and deep breath for heals. Also I roll duel wield and destro staff. Sounds crazy but I can clear very fast and that's all I want to accomplish most times.

mDK is hard mode in there for me for sure, compared to my sorc. And it's my main/most comfortable with.

I find it more of a challenge on my mag dk which makes it more fun. On my sorc I just get too bored farmin vma.

To add to this I have only had a 1 death run never a flawless it just seems like the stars have to align on a mdk to get this one but I wouldn't know like I said only toon I roll for damage is a mdk.

Magdk is actually very easy. 5 julianos, 4 aether or moondancer and Grothdarr. Literally just heavy attack build. Start with eruption on back bar. Front bar is embers, blockade, engulfing, harness and inner. Just heavy attack everything. The only skills I use on back bar is eruption and deep breath and destro ult. Front bar ult is ferocious leap. Landed me flawless countless times and a 550k score like clockwork. Don't try a whip build. It always goes wrong and too magika hungry.
