So I thought that i would check out the golden to see what would be for sale and I saw all the cyrodiil sets but only for AP..... how is this even remotely fair, anyone who wants to start PvP and use these sets can't because they each cost 500k AP.... and the only people who can use them are the players who basically live in PvP. Does anyone else agree?

    Double AP event on now, easy to get 500 AP during this event

    It was annouched.. and you can easly make 200k AP in a few hours with the event

    Yeah i know, what i mean is like the normal golden there is an AP option and a gold option, why not have it like that with this one

    I kinda get what OP is saying. Say that today is your first day in Cyrodiil, you wouldn't know what to do to get you that 200kAP in an hour. You just won't have the same experience as how a person who lives and breathes PvP. And with all the disconnects and lag, I doubt you will get close to 500kAP by the end of the week. To be fair, those sets are mostly niche build pieces, but yeah, I would like me some of those pieces to test.

    Just get a magsorc, run in a zerg, spam mages fury. You will get 500k AP in no time.

    Bonus points if you run EP in a giant zerg then Tbag individual people you kill and pretend you solo'd them. you get an extra 100k AP for doing that.

    I'm hardly asking for things to be handed, i've worked for my gold and i want to be able to spend it on gold jewellery from the golden but there's no option to buy them with gold

    They are BoE and the event will make all of them crash in price on the player market, you could already get them from players for less even half that of what the golden sells them for in gold.

    Anyone who wants to start PvPing is forced to use PVE sets. Even, there are a lot of PvPers who have never seen a golden ring or amulet except on Friday's (when the golden is up)

    In the first weekend of the event you can use Alliance points to purchase necklaces, and in the second, to purchase rings. During the event, Adhazabi Aba-daro will not accept gold as payment for these items, so put those additional Alliance Points to good use!

    Somebody missed this in the event notes.

    It's the same for a few people i know, we just do PvE and only see golden jewellery from the golden, i got lucky and got called into a vet trial last boss and got gold VO ring.

    This event was announced weeks ago.

    All the things for sale of pvp sets so of course then requires ap.

    Its easy to get ap as well, i got 1m ap the first day and 750k today without trying.
    PS4 EU DC

    Current CP : 756+

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...
