ZOS / Pelinavant the Scourge Achivment Glitch

We are all probably well aware of this glitch
but I finally won a match of BGs out of 4 or 5 matches and it wasn't awarded.
but when fixed, will I get awarded the achievment or will I need to do it again?

    ZOS have confirmed that they are aware that it is bugged in this thread:

    And, that after the achivement is fixed you will have to do it again to get the achievement, sorry :|

    Unfortunately, the fix won't be retroactive. Luckily, this is one of the easiest achievements in the bunch to earn since it requires only one won battleground and the event runs for a little under two weeks.

    Also, won't be fixed till Monday. Wednesday if you're on console.
