Thanks for the event, ZOS. Keep up the great work! Now I gotta get back to PVPing so I can earn those alliance points ;)

No lag for me. No wait times for campaigns. Haven't crashed at all. PVP is totally playable in general atm.

    Thanks, ZOS!

OP, you barely gathered 200 signatures on your poll, the game is played by tens of thousands.
What I am trying to say is this is not a community request but just some players, as in you cant speak for all player base when demanding something.
Frankly, I want the event to end early

Not everyone playing the game is on the forums, you are correct. Regardless, it should be extended for the prior reasons given in this thread. Any of the votes that do not want the event extended, are just due to the horrible server performance. PVE'rs from all over are forced into cyro to acquire the limited time only achievements. I would like to see the event end early and everyone just given all the stuffs. See this thread https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/361176/zos-give-everyone-all-the-achievs-boxes-and-end-this-event#latest

Tommorow I'm buying Morrowind just for my last achievement and I hope it won't be broken after maintenance. Also extending the event is necessary for players who are working and lost too much time in queue. Crown crates would be nice, but I think it's not necessary, they gave us infinity amount of daedric thrones, though.

I am a bit worried for those who have issues like shifting, unpredictable work schedules or other variations of limited time slots to play who will be completely blocked from completing the event achievements this year due to bugged code. This has absolutely nothing to do with my quest to get rank 50 by the end of the year and is an entirely altruistic sentiment, I promise.

You actually think this is going to happen? That the event has any bearing on whether they get things done? Lmao. It doesn't. Things don't get done because the team working on this game is and always will be incompetent. As an ESO player, you need to come to terms with this and accept the little victories and scare instances of competence that come from these devs.

That being said, I don't really want an extension. Just put this "holiday" out of its misery already ~Pibb.

Extend please. For the hardcore pvpers this has probably been more than enough time. But for the completionist pvers they probably have only been able to do the event to full on 2-3 characters most. Im in the latter and due to IRL stuff ive only completed on 1. Would love more time. Or atleast enough campaigns that im not sitting around for an hour waiting in queue

The event was broken over the weekend, the weekend is industry standard "prime time". It's only logical that they extend it. It has nothing to do with "you can finish it in an hour huehuehue". The entire entertainment industry is based off of the weekend so stop pretending that it's losers and scrubs who want the extension.

Who decided you get to speak for the community?

Umm, the same person that decided the OP could.

90% of the community agrees with my opinion, yet only 10% agree with yours. Keep in mind these achievements can only be obtained during this event. So people who planned on getting all of them done this week and do not have time to play next week are in a very uncomfortable place. Of course this is all relating to people that actually care about achievements. Personally having well over 26k achievement points, and almost everything done on my main toon, I would lose it if I was not able to complete all of them so I can see where 90% of the community is coming from. Why would anyone disagree honestly? You are not a fan of double AP?

As of right now, 71 people voted to extend the time according to your poll. There are thousands of players. 81 votes is not 90% of the community. I love the double AP and wouldn't mind having it all the time, or for just a little bit longer. I just don't think it is necessary for ZOS to give us something longer. Everyone feels they are entitled to things these days. I am kinda tired of it. I want a game that works because I paid for it. I did not pay for the FREE event. It is just a bonus. ZOS has a lot of work to do. I would rather them fix the broken parts of this game than take the time to add a few extra days of bonus XP.

    62887245.jpg

you can't all the achievements at the moment. I would rather have them fix the broken achievement for the free event then having them work on a audio issue or some other thing. Please read in fully what OP said then realize he is talking about the event being broken.

Thing is they're rarely ever fixing things, unless by fix you mean adding more crown store items

The queues are horrible ... 350+ -- and I assume once I do get there, if I get there, the lag will be atrocious. One problem is that cyro is notorious for lag and loading screens that turn into a disconnect. Reconnecting puts you back where you were before you entered cyro (not to mention another queue to endure).

Maybe if there are events like this in cyro again, you could make a campaign or two just for the event.

    350+? That's nothing...
Had to wait 700+ at one point (PC EU)
Luckily the temp campaigns had much shorter queues, but still quite full.

Between all the server crashes, kicks to main menu and issues logging back in, I'd love to see this event extended to give people more time to complete the achievements. I understand it's frustrating for the regular PVPers to see their campaigns so disrupted, and they just want it to end, but it's just as frustrating for people who just want to play the event for fun. No one enjoys the disconnects and bugs.

The event has only highlighted the worst problems with PVP -- lag, server instability, a mix of PVP campaigns that is completely out of line with what players want to play, and so on. They shoot horses, don't they?

I personally think they need to extend it for 10 days equal to the amount of time it takes for console to get the BG fix. While it won't take me that long to get it, the new servers coming out to alleviate the lag will also be released at the same time which is also a related issue to completing the holiday event.

I've had fun in the event, but I would rate this event a bust overall. They need to dedicate a megaserver to PVP. PVP is end game content and the only one that is actually dynamic. I would do it way more often if the population could be higher, and the stability was there.

A megaserver seems to be the only way to achieve this.
