Guild Traders need a form of ultimate trader hub on console

So as much as I hate the guild trader system in this game I understand that the global auction house will never be part of trading. But there needs to be a change. Maybe in each city there's a type of broker you could search for a certain item and they can tell you where it's located. It can either be purchased through the broker for an additional fee that can go back to that guild or the customer can go to the actual guild trader and purchase it themselves. Also, please allow a text search option on console already, its getting increasingly frustrating to snag motifs needed for master writs. After going to each major trading hub and Vivec last night looking for a spinners waist in divines I couldn't find one anywhere.

Also, if anyone wants 15k - CoD a light spinner's waist in divines to GT: Pocket Aces 13 on XboxNA and you'll have your gold when i get out of work.

Disagree on the need for the hub (but not adamantly against it), but agree on the need for text search within each vendor on consoles.

Having globalized search seems pretty close to an AH, but sounds like a good way to bring down guild trader bids and a QoL improvement. The premium from buying centrally would have to be significant, 10-15% or so. Or maybe you can't buy centrally but can at least know where to go. Not sure I have a stance one way or the other so hoping to see some valid points in the thread.

Man I would love searchable traders on console. Been a frustration of mine since joining guilds. I would be into a globalized search too maybe not one you can buy from though. I'd be fine with just being told where I could find what I'm looking for. maybe like a Guild Accountant NPC. They could even tell you the average prices of what you're looking for. That could help normalize the market a bit better and maybe even bring down prices a bit which would be nice on console since almost everything is way more expensive on console compared to PC from what I've seen.

Exactly, I can't help but feel like easy access to pricing across all guilds has to be the reason for that. I mean console guilds prices are normalized to the guilds themselves almost always and normalized to the area the trader is located lots of times but that's about it. If everyone could easily compare prices across all traders than we'd likely see all prices normalize in unison. Would be great for the economy if you ask me.

i think its because we have way way more bots and as you said access to addons like Master Merchant and Awesome Guild Store

I don't understand why it's so different and why some things are an issue on consoles and not for us...community wise.

Higher prices and guild leaders charging membership fees lol. The struggle is real for you guys over there, I feel your pain.

I globalized search tool/NPC with average prices would be great to normalize the prices throughout the economy while lowering guild trader prices since the prime spots wouldn't matter as much

I'd be willing to bet a globalized search function would lower the cost of bids significantly over time potentially making trader fees for members unnecessary. That would put us on par with PC. Imagine wanting to gold out a build and not having to be a millionaire to do it. Would make all these big changes to builds Zos is into a bit more palatable.

I think we have a lot less sales from week to week on consoles just because it's so hard for people to price what they sell and then also hard for people to find what they want to buy. A bulk of console players are flat broke hoarders. I know guys who have played over a year and never had more than 100k gold to their name.

Outside of the major cities and Craglorn, it's hard to sell anything consistently.
