Nowadays its just a a fest of light attack spamming noobs whining about " i play how i want" so what you want.
With friends its something else of course, no fun still tough...
nowadays i only do them if i need a character maxed out at undaunted skill line

Yea, I agree. Now if I actually want to get through a dungeon I have to play as dps, and self heal and carry them through.
Playing tank or healer means the dungeon will never finish cos the dps are all heavy attack spammers. Maybe they are noobs or maybe they constantly have regen issues.Pc na0 -

✭FunI just do them for fun and hang out with friends, I got off the gear treadmill a long time ago, if I get it I get it and rng hates me and I do not feel like doing anything 50 times only to get something with training or prosperous on it that is no fun.2 -
FunGenerally i don't do dungeons but if i do, it's for fun. You know. DLC dungeon pug runs so ppl could learn a thing or two, quick normal solo runs with a bottle of rum and loud music, quick pledge runs from time to time if ppl ask me to tank for them and i got time and desire. Wouldn't say i farm them. Just do (or trying to) them when i feel like it. I mean if you don't enjoy it then why the hell would you do it? No amount of BiS gear will make up for wasted time. And ZOS will directly or inderectly nerf it at some point anyway. They've been doing it since launch.Edited by inf.toniceb17_ESO on July 18, 2017 1:17PM0

Tezlakipuka✭✭✭ChallengesBarely running pledges anymore. My main reason to run them were achievements, but aside the 100 DLC pledge runs and some 10 point SotH achievements there's nothing left. At least the SotH hardmodes are a good money source.
The keys are just the worst example of bad RNG, the dungeons themselfes are mostly boring by now. Farmed all gearsets I would want already.1 -

Flameheart✭✭✭✭✭OtherActually there are several points, which I would rate on a level of equal importance:
Achievements (slayer, no death, speed -> I am almost finished with 4-man-achievements on 5 of my chars), fun, farming gear and testing your build / rotations. Although I have several target dummies in my house, the best test for a build /rotation concerning effectivity, sustain, comfort and survivability is still a boss where you have to show some reflexes and take care for some red stuff and movement.

1. Did all normal ones just for achievements and having them done.
2. Do some of them if there's any particular set item that I want to try.
3. Normal groups Getting undaunted keys for a chance to get shoulder piece I'm looking for.
4. Normal ones I solo for fun / keys.
5. Vet i TRY to solo once in a while (although i never completed a full one, but made it to the last boss on some)
6. Vet I do in group if I'm after a certain head piece, but that's the only reason
7. Duo normal ones with friends and guildies to show them around if they are unfamiliar.
I prefer to do normal ones as it's more relaxed. I'm not in a hurry to get keys or achievements or gear. Pug Vet can be toxic, when some players start to kick other people. If someone is getting kick vote for not wearing whatever or other bad reasons I'm also leaving too in protest.0 -

DurzoBlint13✭✭✭✭OtherOP you need an option for the Undaunted Skill line on new wardens. It is the only reason I bother with dungeons anymore.
As a side note, I wish they would give us a way to sell Keys to people that actually need them. Ive got over 100 unused, un-needed keys sitting around gathering dust and I know people would pay a premium for them0
