snipe glitch

Anyone notice that this is happening a lot lately. 6 or so snipes hitting you at once. This has been happening as far back as i can remember and never been fixed but damn is it annoying. I keep reporting people but im curious, this has to be an exploit, right? People are messing with emotes or something (just what ive heard) to glitch an ability with a cast time to cause 6 seconds worth of attacks to hit at once and instantly kill you. Seems like an exploit to me.

I decided not to renew my sub again after playing over the weekend... between the group finder and the horrendous lag problems that have continued to go unaddressed. I can't keep rewarding ZOS continued failure.

I can boot up another other MMO, online game had have no latency issues whatsoever. XBOX NA

They stand out of range slightly and just as its about to go off they walk out of range and spam till it starts again then just walk into range and 4-6 snipes hit you all at once

I have been on the receiving end of this a few times and, after I sniped someone down, I have received hate mail accusing me of exploiting. I really do think it is just lag.

@Danksta @Dalsinthus I can understand that might be in some cases, but heres the thing, these people are repeat offenders. I bold that because they do it over and over and over. And its really aggravating. Sometimes i can see it being lag when a couple hit you real quick but i remember a few specific people that do it every day. I get sniped a lot in pvp but these people stand out and do it to others that i know as well.

Plus i usually wait til the same person does it more than a couple times to report.

I think it's just the cast time coupled with the travel time that causes this to happen. I guess I shouldn't have sounded so certain it's not a glitch, but I've seen it from both sides and when I was the sniper, it wasn't because of a glitch.

@Danksta ya im not trying to sound rude or say i know for 100% either with every time.. but i can say that there are a few people, at least on xbox na, that do this to me on a regular basis.. Even today ive delt with 6 or so different snipers and none have done this to me, but those certain people always do..

Actually, there was a exploit that allowed you to do just what the OP describes and yes, it involved emotes.

However, this was supposed to be fixed many months ago.

I've watched videos of the snipe + emote glitch on console, people being hit for 5 snipes in a row, 100 to zero is real. I'm pretty sure it doesn't effect PC though. I've died from snipe due to lag, likewise, when I've dropped my sorc and I'm on my bowtard, I've killed a few with snipe due to lag. swings and round-a-bouts I guess.

Either way, it does need a fix.

hell ya it needs a fix, i just hope they are actually banning the people i report doing it. absolutely trash players. i record and report them every time, i dont report people very often but that glitch really gets under my skin.

plus this has been going on forever. Used to be the same thing with expert hunter, prob just a diff way to glitch it. since before thieves guild, are you serious?

It's just lag combined with the clunky hour-long animations. I hit people with lethal arrow a lot, and sometimes when it's a DK with wings, it lags, and my shots get reflected back. They can hit me all at once leading to my own death lol
