Elemental Drain doesn't restore magicka in trials

I don't know if it's a known bug or not, but it's game-breaking so I thought I'd report it. In trials Elemental Drain seems to restora magicka only to the player who applied it, not to anyone else (or maybe very very rarely). Many different people tried to apply it, yet the results were the same, it'd restore magicka only to the one person who applied it. It seems to work on training skeletons (so when applied to target skeletons it restores magicka to everyone), but for some reason not in trials.

UPDATE: It doesn't even work on target skeletons, only the person who applied it will get magicka.

What platform are you on? May not be the same for all platform so makes harder for others to test and see.

Sorry, I'm on PC. Also tested it in dungeons, and only the one who applied it will ever restore mana. Also with an addon that shows debuffs, you can't see the magicka steal debuff when it's applied by someone else, but you can see it if you apply Elemental Drain yourself.

Another update: We've tried a different skill that also applies minor magickasteal, it's Radiant Aura, morph of Restoring Aura, and it seems to work! So it restores magicka to everyone that damages the target, not just the one who applied it. Also with an addon the debuff can be seen by others. So it's surely Elemental Drain that is not working properly.

UPDATE: I was wrong, Radiant Aura doesn't work either, also the debuff is invisible to people other than the caster. It's the same as Elemental Drain. So it could be minor magickasteal that doesn't work.

I noticed this as well, first I thought the healer was being lazy but then I tried applying it to the same target and my magicka sustain improved significantly.

After further testing, it seems that the problem was 2 addons, LUI Extended and Combat Metrics, as both claimed that Elemental Drain hadn't restored any magicka. So Elemental Drain works fine after all.

It looks to me there is an issue with the API that doesn't fire the event on a magicka regen tick when someone else cast ele drain on the target.

Like written in the other thread it is a bug in Combat Metrics.
