Dear ZOS - Past Season Crate Access?

Dear ZOS,

I just resubbed this summer after a tumultuous, game-less year, and I missed the Storm Atronarch and Wild Hunt crates. The mounts look awesome. Will there ever be another shot at those items again in the Crown store or in game? Like, maybe do a nostalgia season, or right before the new year, have a Nostalgia / Past crate/items/mounts sale? Make them delve or dungeon rewards? Please consider!

With the addition of Crown Crates to the Crown Store numerous previous items offered in the Crown Store became available for people willing to spend their money on a chance at them through the crate. Because the Crown Crates are less than a year out and they are offered in what ZOS is calling "Seasons," I would imagine there will be some kind of rotation as we move forward. It seems unlikely they will offer a full season with the exact same items, however, simply because ZOS has greater earnings potential by continuing to offer new items in future crates.

That being said, I would imagine the marketing team at ZOS is well aware that players will jump at the chance to "buy" items from previous crate seasons that they missed - whether due to having (temporarily) quit, being a new player, or whatever. Because the missed items can still potentially generate future sales, I would guess they will be available in some alternate way - most likely via purchase through the Crown Gems to ensure players still purchase crates.

Perhaps there will be some kind of short lived/limited time "Nostalgia Crate Weekend" may be offered with selections (or all items) from Storm Atronoch Season, Wild Hunt Season, Dwemer Season, Reaper's Harvest Season (the alleged name for the season following the current Dwemer theme). Perhaps they will offer previous crates' mounts as "purchasable via Crown Gem" offerings in another Crown Crate Season as an annual throwback offering. while still offering new ones to make sure older players who already participated in the previous Crown Crate Season spend MORE money. It seems unlikely they'd do another Storm Atronoch Crown Crate (with only the previously available items) because so many people already have those - but offering Fire Atronoch Crown Crates (with an opportunity to redeem Crown Crate Gems for Storm Atronoch Crown Crate selections) might be a possibility.

Very insightful. I've played other MMOs with similar crate systems, and sometimes a few items roll over or are repeated in the following seasons. So all of your possibles and perhapses and my original question, I am hoping ZOS takes note of.
