What class and build do you run war maiden with!?

Just got a war maiden lightning staff sharp and I wanna build a good build that can attempt maelstrom with it. I've not gotten a sharpened staff of any other sets I've farmed and now that I've got one ill just gear myself around that.

I have a sorc, templar, warden, dk, and nightblade.

Which class will a sharpened war maiden lightning staff pve build work best.

I would prefer to run it on a sorc. But doesent war maiden not effect spells that deal elemental damage? How does that work. Cause I know netch works on my lightning attacks. But does war maiden effect my lightning spells as well or just like frags ?

It doesn't acculally work well on MagSorc because it increases magic damage done not elemental damage. Many of the sorc skills you use deal elemental damage and not magic damage. That being said MagNB and MagTemplar would be the best fits for it

Julianos out damages it on even MagNB and MagTemplar so that's another thing to consider

It's actually very good for PvE and *** for PvP, you have better options.

NB and if they ever fix it Templar but Templars channels damage modifies are bugged with Maiden.

It's kind of meh with the other classes, even Nightblades. Though, for magplars, it's pretty strong, since most of their damage is magic damage, except reflective light/vampire's bane and elemental blockade. Ultimates vary a bit so, ye.

It would work best with my magsorc lol.

I got a blue Necro destro lightning staff in Rivenspire last week, if RNG only would give me a few more Necro armor pieces (I got two, so far).

I purchased a War Maidens set of armor for her (to hold me over till I have the Necro set), wasn't too bad, only about 45K for the entire (purple) set. My magsorc was from two years ago when I played here first, and she was woefully underpowered. It's amazing the amount of low DPS staffs did back then.

Essentially not a good set. Most magicka builds use some sort of elemental which is why sets that proc some extra spell damage for everything tend to be preferred, except DKs wince they pretty much do fire.

Spinner is better than warmaiden for PvE solo content. Also...just sell the staff to someone for rediculous gold and wear spinner gear.
