The LOTRO game masters had a base in the clouds that was always there, and they could look down on the world and had a bunch of tool boxes up there.Yes, I do heartily repent. Bots used to farm delve bosses by standing at their spawn point and spamming templar aedric spear puncturing strikes thing. Was really annoying because it meant nobody could get an attack in in time to register a kill contribution. I reported a group of a between a dozen and twenty of them once and the GM was there in like a minute. Poof, they all disappeared
These days you put in a report and get a canned response 20 days later. I guess they mothballed their GM team.Currently obsessed with battlegrounds. Spamming here between rounds. Sometimes, when forums are particularly good, I skip ballerina around*

✭✭They don't use them anymore. Sometimes they just pop up on their own characters to check stuff out. They did it for when pig farming was such a thing. I know for certain. We scattered like roaches under a light when we saw the red Z. This was on XB EU.PC Master Race

Yeah, I really hated it when one of the GMs showed up in a dungeon where players were trying to kill the boss to finish the delve, but no one could get a hit in because of the mob of bots 4 deep around the spawn point. The GM showed up, told everyone not a bot to move away, and nuked everyone who didn't. It was glorious. Zone chat was flooded with people thanking him, actually. [in case you can't tell, I really didn't hate it. Saw it happen more than once, and really thought it was fantastic]
I wished a GM would show up at the dolmens that had dozens of bots heavy attacking the empty platform continuously. I wished a GM would show up to nuke the bot trains running through Shadowfen. Unless you are chronically doing things you shouldn't be doing, you shouldn't be worried that a GM shows up. Note, please, these are actual employees, and not privileged players who could abuse any powers given to them.1 -
