Friend glitched out in Dragonstar Arena, lost his completion.

Last night 3 friends and myself completed vet DSA for the first time.

Beating the last boss triggers 4 golden beams of light, portals. Playing back on the video two of them entered the same portal but one got stuck.
By the time we'd gone up and excitedly opened the chest for our loot we established one friend was stuck in the portal, not moving.

After a minute or so he closed the game and restarted. Loaded back in with us in the last room with the rewards chest, however the chest was gone.

He didn't get his trophies, title nor his loot from the chest.

Will Zos fix this?

It'll be easier for you just to re-run this for your friend rather than hope for compensation. That blows though, sorry for your friend

I am not sure. There were a lot of strange instances of maelstrom where people had issues and I don't think those were ever adjusted.

Rerunning it would probably be best.

We will definitely be re running it again. We were all so bummed he lost out considering we spent 6 hours the first night and failing, having never ran it before, then 3 and half hours last night. Feels like such a waste for my buddy who lost out.

Ha! Yea they won't help you. They are not exactly known for their astounding customer service.
Seriously a bummer. That guys loot was probably a sharpened bow or whatever it was he wanted from the chest.

That sucks.

I had a similar problem last week. We finished vCoS hard mode and we were not granted the achievement, none of us. And trust me I am sure we activated the HM.

I did contact support and all they told me is that they cannot grant achievements manually.

I am sorry for your friend, but the best he can do is to run again with you guys, now that you already know what to do. We did run again vCoS the day after that happened and we got our achievements (and I am now proudly showing off the skin haha!).

Yeah, if someone isn't around when everyone else loots a chest (or heavy sack, that kind of thing), that person doesn't "count" as far as the loot source's despawn is concerned. Always make sure everyone's around before you open things like that.

That's classic bug. All You need to do is wait up to few minutes and beam will finally unstuck. Tell Your friends You're stucked so they dont pick up loot from chest.

that bugs been around since dsa was introduced, no ability to get back into the final room no loot and the chest despawns 5 mins after the first person loots. The worst part? every ticket i ever opened about it was closed and the zenimax customer support will not give you loot from a chest you never got to open nor give an achievement you earned.

Reminds me how once I ran vet WGT with friends and got rolled back. The fun part? We were successfully killing Kena when we all got kicked out of the dungeon to find not just the dungeon reset but most of the loot we had acquired in the dungeon gone from our inventory. Still haven't the foggiest what happened but boy were we pissed.

Eso being Eso by the sounds of it haha, but that blows
