I think our motto should be "keep it secret, keep it safe"

The truth is Oregon is Beautiful, Vibrant, Diverse and Unimaginable. Perfect in so many ways I can't even begin to describe.

But traditionally born and raised people will ward off outsiders. We don't often invite people here. We see what overcrowding does and with so much woodland and wildlife to preserve I hope it never comes to a point where we see urbanization in our natural lands.

Some of our major cities are already feeling the weight of to many people and to much travel. Best not taunt the fates with luring more people here.

I went to college there and lived for a while. It really depends on where you go. Some places are fantastic and beautiful. Some are unnecessarily elite feeling. But isn't that true everywhere?

I grew up in the Willamette valley. There is no place like Oregon and I miss it terribly. I miss how friendly people are there, the pace of life, and the wonderful landscape.

But in case anyone asks, it's terrible. Never move there.

@torusnc Yep, Washinton is the Ashlands cause Mt St Helens! Good memory, I was in muh mommies tummy when that Mtn. Erupted, my dad had a hand held VCR tape Camera (well shoulder mounted really, thing was huge) and he filmed it blow its top. We still have the video, his narration is pretty cool... It actually sounds like I'm narrating the eruption, my dad and I have the exact same voices people cant tell who they are talking too over the phone... Kinda funny, and we've trolled a lot of family members over the years
