It's not. I ran that setup in Homestead and a big reason why it worked was that it was possible to use Thief mundas and a spell damage enchant. Sustain nerfs put an end to that.
I've settled on Wizards/Alteration/vMA inferno/Skoria.

I like the lightning staff to much. You back bar reposte or alteration? I see the flame staff is better for bane and raidiant but i like the lightning buff to jabs the stun and for dawnie.

Or you use the reactive set for Lights of Cyrodiil. The damage reduction is much stronger..

Only when you're cc'd, if it still applied to snares I'd consider it for sure. But since I'm a templar ill cleanse an immobilize and it would only apply to hard cc. I run immovable pots too. My goal is to stay offensive as long as possible with massive dmg reduction. Reactive would also be a huge dps loss. This is meant to be a duel/ small scale build not a heal tank. Ill let y'all know how it goes when i get the rings next week.

Doesnt pirate skeleton give you major protection, which is a buff we already get from channeled focus? Seems like a bit of a waste if that's the case.
Build could work but I'd personally use engine guardian for more sustain

It's not calculated like that, but a wise man @Waffennacht helped me and hee me some very impressive damage reduction figures. I think it was about 49%. This applies to shields as well.
