With the recent changes made to CP and the Warden class being around for about a month now, I cant help but think what future changes ZoS had in mind to keep the game flavorful in the coming years.
The new monster helms on paper don't look so impressive and, in my opinion, they can only make but so many five piece sets that people would regularly use unless they go for meta changing gear with each update (not good).
What I am trying to get at is that the game really lacks any flavor and you could easily get away with running the same set up on multiple classes and expect similar results. Also the best weapons are what is optimal for every class as well. For example, out in any dungeon as a stam char, what is best to run is DW/Bow. And in PvP, as a stam char you almost always need a 2H somewhere on your bar to be dominant and This is with every class. This is coming from a guy with 5 stam dps who noticed this trend and how bad it could be for the game.
So, what do you think ZoS can and will do in the future?
-I was surprised when the Warden was announced just like everyone else. Perhaps releasing new classes in the future may keep things fresh and exciting.
-Some people have suggested new weapon lines, which would be cool since we never see any new skills added at all of any kind to keep combat fresh and exciting.
-What I've seen in other MMOs and what could possibly work well with ESO as well is the idea of dual classing. Essentially having two classes, the second you can unlock at a certain level and by doing so certain skills are enhanced at some are replaced with hybrid skills. I really like the idea of this.
-Also, last idea, I like the idea of class awakenings. This idea comes from BDO, Zenimax maybe change the name for us ESO players lol. At a certain level or CP level, classes have special 'morphs' to certain skill weapon skill lines, bringing in even more variety to the combat system.
I apologize for this idea-dump, but I suppose that is what the forums are for right? As an ESO player since launch, I can say there have been several months where I haven't played simply because I was burned out simply because the combat lacked a lot of variety and the day to day repitiveness of the game also would push me away. But, I would like to know What the community thinks. Do you all like my ideas? Do you have any of your own? Please share.
